Hope things change soon and we start winning football matches again. This kid deserves so much more. More wins mean less pressure on Carrick, and more opportunities for Shea Lacey to get the minutes he deserves. This season was meant to be his.

A reminder: Manchester United had the easiest start to the season out of every team.

Suddenly, Manchester United have completely forgotten how to win football matches. THREE DRAWS IN A ROW. And honestly, it feels like THREE DEFEATS. Because at Manchester United, draws mean fuck all when we should be winning these games. Carrick is under pressure now. Improvement in performances means NOTHING if we can’t turn it into wins. This is Manchester United. We cannot keep dropping points and expect people to be satisfied. Another game. Another draw. Another fucking disappointing weekend. What’s next?

Licha, you had nothing to apologise for. You did nothing wrong by showing your frustration, and you had every right to feel that way. Hopefully, we can all move forward now, but I genuinely hope the message behind your reaction reaches the hierarchy and has an impact on how they approach the upcoming transfer windows. This club needs ambition, proper investment and a squad capable of competing at the highest level. I also hope they understand that the fans share that same frustration. We see it, we feel it, and we want better for this club just as much as you do. Head up, @LisandrMartinez . You have our support. ❤️

Who is correct? 👀 Gary Neville or Lisandro Martinez. Which side are you?

Completely wrong, @GNev2 The feeling is that the senior players are frustrated because the hierarchy failed to properly invest in, support and back the manager and the squad after finishing 3rd and qualifying for the UCL. Lisandro’s reaction reflects the frustration felt by senior players throughout the squad. Even as fans, we could see before the season started that this squad wasn’t ready to compete in the UCL. Frankly, even in the Premier League, it’s only now that we have a squad capable of realistically finishing in the top four. And the net spend? £100m? Is that genuinely how a big club responds after finishing 3rd and qualifying for the Champions League? Think about the revenue generated last season. After all that, we invested just £100m? Come on. Look at Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Arsenal and City. Look at the quality and depth in their squads. I shouldn’t have to explain this to you, Gary. You’ve been part of dressing rooms that understood what it takes to compete at the highest level. You know better than most what ambition, investment and proper backing look like. You have been in different squads which had depth and options throughout your career. So why are you addressing the issue this way instead of confronting the real problem? You can hold players accountable without ignoring the failures of the hierarchy. Both things can be true. With all due respect, Gary, you can do much better than this.
🚨🎙️ | Gary Neville on Lisandro Martinez's comments: "When Martinez says they should have brought more players in, he's DIRECTLY attacking his teammates. "So if I was a player this morning, if I was Bruno Fernandes and I was Harry Maguire and the other senior players, I'd be absolutely FUMING with him. "Because you're basically saying that some of us SHOULDN'T be here and we should be bringing in more players, and that’s what I think he’s saying..." [@WeAreTheOverlap]

PR JOURNALISTS/PUNDITS/EX-PLAYERS, JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP. We, the fans, know exactly what’s right and what’s wrong. Without us, there is no club. Manchester United was built on the passion, loyalty, and unwavering support of its fans, and on the connection we share with the players who represent this badge. We DON’T give a flying fuck about the narrative you’re trying to push against Lisandro Martínez. You can sit in your studios, collect your paychecks, and repeat whatever narrative suits the people running this club. But don’t you EVER think you can manipulate the fans into turning against our own players. INEOS/GLAZERS, WE ARE NOT STUPID. WE SEE THROUGH THE BULLSHIT.
