The person in this photo is Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
The picture was taken at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday by Media Relations Officer for the Ministry, Fred Duhoe.
Apparently, after the Minority held a press conference raising concerns about the evacuation of 1,964 returnees, the Foreign Affairs team embarked on a five-day marathon exercise to counter the allegations with facts and evidence.
They said they scrutinised documents, matched payments to names, contacted parents and guardians and verified records flight by flight.
The team also said they worked from 7:30 a.m. until as late as 4:00 a.m, preparing their evidence ahead of Mr. Ablakwa’s scheduled interview to counter the allegations.
I’m told that throughout the midnight marathon, the Minister was with them.
Just for your information.

Kwame Nkrumah was not overthrown by accident. He was removed by a conspiracy that included the United States government.
On February 24, 1966, while Nkrumah was on a peace mission to Hanoi and Peking, the Ghanaian military and police seized power. The coup ended his vision of an industrialized, self-reliant Ghana and a united Africa.
For decades, the US role was suspected but unproven. Then the files started opening.
In 1978, former CIA officer John Stockwell revealed that the CIA station in Accra was "encouraged by headquarters to maintain contact with dissidents of the Ghanaian army," was given a "generous budget," and maintained "intimate contact with the plotters as a coup was hatched." The station even proposed a cover operation to storm the Chinese embassy during the coup, though Washington rejected that specific plan.
In March 2025, Ghana's President John Mahama said it plainly at the 68th Independence Day celebrations: "Declassified documents from the United States archives reveal that this was a coup inspired and engineered by the CIA. It shattered Nkrumah's vision of an industrialised and self-reliant Ghana and significantly delayed our attainment of the objectives of nationhood".
One detail complicates the story, but does not clear Washington. The high-level 303 Committee in Washington had explicitly rejected a CIA request to authorize Nkrumah's overthrow. The CIA station in Accra went ahead anyway, supporting the plotters and later receiving "full, if unofficial credit" from headquarters. The agency didn't follow the rulebook. It acted in the field and was rewarded for it.
Nkrumah wanted Ghana's wealth to serve Ghana. He wanted Africa to unite. He wanted a continent that could stand on its own. That vision was buried on February 24, 1966. The men who buried it had help.
The receipts are no longer hidden. They are in the archives, in the memoirs, and in the words of a Ghanaian president standing before his nation.

Slide 1:
Protests around Europe because life is unaffordable for their citizens.
Slide 2:
Europe is sending millions of dollars in 'aid' to Nigeria.
The clash between these two images looks like a contradiction. It feels like a direct betrayal of domestic needs — why would the EU be sending millions of dollars to help poor Nigerians when its own people are struggling to buy food?
But in reality, it makes perfect sense.
Foreign aid is a strategic, exploitative business transaction, not a charity donation. It is a calculated way to take while looking like you are giving.
1. The 'Aid' Money Never Really Leaves Europe
For the most part, "aid" money never actually leaves the donor's ecosystem.
Most aid packages explicitly mandate that the recipient nation must use the funds to contract European firms, purchase European goods, or hire European consultants.
The money stays in the West, acting as a back-door economic stimulus package to support European corporations and domestic industries.
They are essentially funding themselves.
2. The Legal "Buy-In" Fee for Foreign Natural Resources.
More importantly, that aid money is the ultimate diplomatic entry fee. High-level envoys use the promise of humanitarian aid to buy political favors, exclusive slots, and massive leverage.
Behind closed doors, the exact same diplomats negotiating poverty relief are locking down exclusive access to Nigeria's untapped solid minerals and lithium mining rights.
There is absolutely no contradiction between hungry Europeans and European aid flowing to Africa.
The 'aid' is a complex political capital boomerang.
The money leaves Europe disguised as a charity, brokers lopsided mining deals with local politicians, and returns straight back to Europe a hundred times heavier — bearing Nigerian raw materials like a reverse Santa Claus.
So when you hear that Africa got aids from Europe, "ma fọ" — for Oyinbo is doing a magic trick, using sleight of hands to move resources worth billions of dollars from your mines to their 'first world' country.
And after billions in aids, you'll be poorer, and they'll be richer.
But again, ma fọ — it's because "Africa is so corrupt".🤡🤡🥱🥱

In a 2008 interview after leaving the Élysée, Jacques Chirac was asked about France's relationship with Africa. His answer was not a diplomatic dodge. It was a confession.
"A large part of the money in our wallets comes precisely from the exploitation, over centuries, of Africa. Not only. But much of it comes from the exploitation of Africa. So we need a little common sense. I am not saying generosity. Common sense, justice, to give back to Africans what we took from them."
He called it "justice." Not charity. Not aid. Justice. He said it was necessary "if we want to avoid the worst convulsions or difficulties, with the political consequences that entails in the near future" .
The quote is documented by Franceinfo and cited in academic and activist publications . It is not a viral screenshot. It is a recorded statement from a man who led France for twelve years.
We are seeing the product and consequences of what he said in the streets of France today.
As the resources tap closes owing to the oppressed people's determination to end their oppression, it was inevitable that we will see this play out on the streets of France.

A farmer, tired of rats destroying his crops and stealing his grain, came up with a clever but cruel plan. He threw a dead pig into a deep, abandoned well. Attracted by the smell, nearly 80 rats rushed into the well to feast on the carcass. At first, everything seemed wonderful. There was more than enough food for everyone, and the rats ate until they were satisfied.
But when the food was gone, they discovered something terrifying. The walls of the well were too steep to climb. They were trapped. Days passed, and hunger turned into desperation. Desperation turned into aggression. The rats that had once eaten peacefully beside one another began fighting for survival. Eventually, they began killing and eating each other.
One by one, their numbers dwindled until only a single rat remained. Its eyes were bloodshot, and it had survived by consuming its own kind. Then the farmer returned, lowered a rope into the well, and rescued the last surviving rat. But he didn't save it out of kindness or compassion.
The farmer knew the rat had learned to survive by hunting other rats. When he released it into his fields, it would continue killing its own kind instead of eating his grain. The farmer had turned his enemy into his greatest weapon.
And that is the lesson of divide and conquer. Those who control the trap don't need to fight the battles themselves. They simply create the conditions in which others turn against one another.
The rats believed their enemies were the other rats. They never realized that the true enemy was the farmer who had put them there.
The greatest danger isn't always the enemy standing in front of you. Sometimes it's the one who created the conflict and stands quietly watching you destroy each other.
Before you turn against your neighbor because of their political beliefs, ask yourself who benefits from keeping Americans divided. While we fight each other over Republican and Democrat, we may be overlooking those who profit from the conflict. Perhaps the real question isn't which side you're on, but who built the well—and why they want us fighting at the bottom of it.
Did you know in 2014, Ukraine needed a loan?
There were two offers on the table:
🔴 The IMF dangled $15 billion, but with strings attached:
-Scrap the ban on private land ownership.
-Slash pensions and fuel subsidies, classic austerity.
🔴 Russia also offered $15 billion.
No strings, no neoliberal gutting of the economy.
President Yanukovych picked the Russian deal.
So what happened?
Washington backed a coup, ousted him, and installed a new puppet regime.
Then the new government bent the knee to the IMF.
Signed off on austerity program and opened the door to privatization.
Now, massive chunks of Ukrainian land, about a third, are in the hands of foreign giants like BlackRock.

Stealing Africa's mineral wealth is all they know and care about.
Today I introduced the Sudan IMPACT Act, which will establish an agricultural and minerals partnership between the United States and Sudan.
Sudan’s mineral resources could help expand the supply of materials we use in technologies Americans rely on every day, like phones and cars.
This legislation offers a path toward greater economic cooperation with the United States and Sudan, provided Sudan’s government shows real progress in protecting its people.
