𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗨𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡! In commemoration of the 53rd anniversary of Martial Law, a period in Philippine history that continues to remind us of the dangers of abuse of power and the need to uphold truth and justice. 𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, particularly in addressing the pressing concerns on the government’s ghost flood control projects, and to honor the legacy of the EDSA People Power Revolution that fought for our nation’s freedom and democracy. As a community bound not only by our shared love for BOYNEXTDOOR but also by our shared responsibility as Filipino citizens, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗛 𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱. BOYNEXTDOOR as artists have always embodied values of sincerity, hope, and integrity— principles that extend beyond music. In the same way, as responsible citizens, it is our duty to extend the same values beyond the fandom. Let us speak out and stand firm against injustice and corruption, remember the lessons of Martial Law, and uphold the hard-earned freedom that generations before us fought for. Let us all stand in solidarity and collectively demand for transparency. Our participation can extend in both online or on ground spaces. Amplify the calls on social media. Educate others about the weight of each protest. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. May we, as ONEDOORs and as Filipinos, remain steadfast in our commitment to truth, justice, and accountability.
