Keep it simple.

הציבור סומך עליך shakuf.co.il/30046

Today was my last day at @SolutoEng. The friends I had the privilege to work with have made me the PM I am today. In a couple of weeks, I’ll be starting a new journey at @MelioPayments with new (and some old) friends.

#workingfromhome @solutoeng day 2 summary: Normally when one half of the day is full of meetings, the other is relatively clear for non-meetings work. Today was just the meetings half as the other half I was with our 2yo b/c kindergarten’s closed.

So I tried to make sure I’m taking and sharing notes for every meeting. But still I had no time at all to do work outside of these meetings. However - father-daughter time was priceless!

When you strip away the new-age-y nuances, this has some nice insights. I very much agree with 2, 3, and 4: 99u.adobe.com/articles/64926… via @MindtheProduct newsletter

#workingfromhome @solutoeng day 1 summary: Having clear(ish) goals was essential to making this day pretty productive. Also - a surprising benefit for Zoom calls - meeting don't "fade out" (e.g. while walking out of the room), they just end.

Also - It was impossible without my family's support. My awesome mother-in-law was with the 2yo all afternoon. Not sure how that will continue during the rest of this time.

Sounds like a description for a PM role

That's one of the best advice you can give PMs. It's one of the things I struggled with the most when I just got started.
agreed with so much of yesterday’s NY Prod Conf but want to repeat one thing: a PMs job is not to make all the decisions themselves. A PMs job is to make sure that good decisions get made.

I just watched the recording of @heap's webinar about #retention. I got some really great takeaways from it. e.g., the concept of 1 key action that signifies retention and supporting actions that help that key action. Thanks!

I was stung by this thing today. 3 times!!! And how was your day?

My main takeaway from the #INDUSTRY conference was that it might sound trivial that PMs should focus on problems, but it's not always the case. Here are 3 ways to make it work (and my first medium post 👏): link.medium.com/FrAevr7rb1
FOCUS please 🎯. Coming up with right solutions requires a **real** understanding of the problem first. But not all of us **actually** understand the problems we are working on as PMs. Here are 3 ideas to help you sharpen this critical PM skill🕵🏻‍♀️ @urkele medium.com/p/15f0eb0f728a – at Israel

Indeed worthy read. Still compiling my thoughts around it as a big fan of objectives. I think it’s mostly about how hard vs. soft your objectives are. – at Israel

Also got me thinking about how lucky I am to be in this industry: “Outside the R&D department it’s hard to imagine [...] a project with no goal other than to discover something new and interesting.” What other industries you know that do that (seriously asking)?
