There’s been a concerted effort on social media over the last 48 hours or so to try to convince people that Michael Owen might actually be cool / funny. Resist it.

Call me cynical, but I find it difficult to believe that the transfer was dead after the medical, but he still hung about to watch Rangers v Jagiellonia Białystok.
Rangers will not complete a £7million move for Couhaib Driouech and the deal is now off due to an injury. Personal terms were agreed. Rangers will now move on to other targets. The defeat to Jagiellonia had no impact on the Driouech situation. rangersreview.co.uk/features…

Lest we forget this is how Andrew ‘forensic’ Neil held Nigel Farage’s feet to the fire duration his BBC years..by inviting him on to his show as a comedic guest presenter
It's been a great pleasure to work with @daily_politics — and at times really good fun too.

England getting Argentina over Switzerland is like winning a watch. The World Cup final beckons. Argentina are average… Switzerland would have been a much tougher test…

So sweet to hear Michael Gove on radio boasting that the loss of £10bn on PPE contracts on his watch was just down to his own incompetence, not corruption and cronyism

People v the establishment update. Richard Tice tells Times Radio: "My family have known the Cottrell family for 50 years, they're a very successful aristocratic family."
Police investigations into a £500,000 donation made by the mother of George Cottrell is news to Reform UK's deputy leader Richard Tice. "I think this is a politically motivated smear campaign."

You're not fighting the establishment. You're fighting a bin.
In 2024, I told Clacton that I would fight for them against the establishment. They are trying to destroy me for it — but I will never stop.

The fact that Farage is standing down for corruption, and will then run again, shows his disdain for the masses. He knows he can treat the people like mugs, and that many will still vote him back in again. Prove him wrong!
