Polygons were only used in graphics because they allowed for a mathematically simple and computationally cheap way to pin pixels spatially in a temporally coherent manner.
With these new AI visualization tools, first theorized by Heinlein in The Moon is a Harsh Mistress (1966), polygons will no longer be necessary and will likely die out once AI tooling reaches the levels of computational speed, code efficiency, and temporal coherence (frame to frame).
Eventually there is a crossing point where the AI visualization tools will be more efficient and more photorealistic than polygons and physics based render engines without any of the tediousness of modeling, rigging, animating, UVing, texturing, and rendering required for traditional tessellated raster graphics.

And the final update to this saga:
I was just at his sentencing. The prosecution had asked for 15 months in prison because of the randomness and aggression in his assault on me and his extremely long history of violent crime (43 prior convictions).
The defense asked for no time because he is black and jail made him sad (yes really).
The judge decided on a “middle ground” sentence of 9 days in jail, of which he will serve 6 days.

WELL I was assaulted by a schizo homeless guy today in Toronto.
I was walking to the grocery store when he started stalking me. I tried to get away from him but it didn’t work. He grabbed me, pinned me against a fence, and then tried to break my hand to steal my phone. Three people passing by helped save me.
The police were quick and kind, but the officer I spoke with told me this guy had been arrested for attacking people repeatedly in the past month, and “fair warning, a judge will probably let him out by tomorrow morning.”

Bo Jackson won the state decathlon title in high school doing only 8 events!
Was afraid of the pole vault and hated the mile run, so just got enough points in the other events to beat everyone else.
No one comes close to him as an athlete. Imagine Derek Henry or Aaron Donald playing MLB and hitting home runs and throwing runners out at home from Right Center.

They are searching for him, but blurred his face to the public. We live in the absolute dumbest of times.
Armed police launched a search in Edgware after reports of a man carrying what appeared to be a firearm on Edgwarebury Lane.
The Metropolitan Police were called at around 3.50pm on Wednesday, September 16, following reports from members of the public.
Armed officers were deployed and nearby schools and synagogues were temporarily placed into lockdown as a precaution while searches were carried out. The lockdowns have since been lifted and no injuries have been reported.
Police said descriptions from several witnesses led them to believe the object being carried may have been a toy gun. Officers had not located the man by Wednesday evening and no arrests had been made.
The Met said officers from its Community Protection Team remain in the area to provide reassurance while the search continues. Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 4908/16SEP.

The woman responsible for this bill passing in Texas, Laurie Cardoza-Moore, is the same woman who sent Charlie Kirk text messages explicitly threatening him for publicly disagreeing with Israel a couple weeks before he died.
