It's been exactly 7 days since the Abstract Chickens mint 🐔
- OpenSea verification secured ✅
- Floor holding around 0.03 ETH, currently 0.0294 ETH
- That's almost 3x the original mint price
- While plenty of new NFT collections are already dumping hard by this point, Chickens are holding up surprisingly well.
But here's my favorite part.
These NFTs are STILL on @AbstractChain.
Sometimes a project turns out to be much better than the chain it was built on.
And sometimes the chain simply doesn't deserve the project.
I personally think the move to Ethereum, combined with a possible reveal, could push these Chickens to a completely different price level. 👀

I think most people are still sleeping on the real alpha in @0xQuit’s Abstract Chickens.
It really may be the art.
The artist @Groowut is the creator of @itsafwog.
Fwog went from a rugged Solana project to one of the most recognizable independent meme IPs in Web3, largely because the community rallied around the character and Wut just kept building.
His style is immediately recognizable. Clean, expressive, very internet, and backed by thousands of illustrations, GIFs and animations.
That work eventually landed him at @yugalabs as Art Producer / Creative Art Lead. @CryptoGarga has publicly praised his work.
So... when the VP of Blockchain at Yuga and the artist behind Fwog decide to build a ridiculous game of chicken together, PAY ATTENTION.
Eggs on Abstract. Chickens on ETH. Bigger pot paid out the longer people wait to bridge/reveal.
The mechanics are fun af, but that's temporary.

Just passed $4.5M in value returned.
As an aside, claims have slowed considerably and I will soon be transitioning all remaining assets to a more permanent home: a dedicated smart contract that issues ERC721 receipts to claimants.
Do not be alarmed if you see the assets begin to move - I will pre-announce the contract address.
This comes at an additional gas expense but means that each claimant will be written to storage, so assets will remain claimable for as long as Ethereum exists.
