Housekeeping: we're shutting down our Discord and Telegram. Both were set up early on and haven't been actively run by our team since — rather than leave unmonitored channels sitting out there with our name on them, we're closing them.
sim.untrading.org is, and has only ever been, our official channel. We don't run a Discord, Telegram, or any other community server. If something claims to be us elsewhere, it isn't.
18 years ago, nine pages proposed money you could hold without asking anyone's permission. Most of the noise since has been about price. The idea was about custody. Where will you be financially in 10 years, and who will be holding your keys?
Tokenized shares with the same rights as the listed ones, settling atomically. The interesting part isn't 24/7 trading. It's ownership records and settlement finally living in the same place. That's the quiet infrastructure long-horizon holders actually need.
CNTN shares are headed for 24/7 trading.
Tokenized shares issued by @Fairmint would carry the same rights as Nasdaq shares of CNTN.
Trading on TSV via the Tradecraft protocol is expected as early as Nov 2, with every trade settling atomically on Canton.
A question worth sitting with this week: who do you have to trust for your holdings to still be there in 10 years? Self-custody shortens that list to one. It's a discipline, not a trade.

Cycles come and go. The dark blue area kept rising anyway: 7%, then 18%, now 30%. Onchain finance is maturing the way real markets do, quietly and through the downturns.
When the firm that custodies $114T starts minting tokenized Treasuries and index ETFs, tokenization stops being an experiment. For a ten-year holder the questions stay simple: who holds the underlying, how do you redeem, and can you verify it any day you want?
A custody bank joining is the headline. The part that matters for a long-term holder is quieter: who holds the underlying, how anyone can verify it, and what happens to the claim if a partner walks away. Those answers decide whether it's still worth holding in 10 years.
Seeing every transaction was step one. Knowing who controls a vault, what backs it, and how it behaves under stress is what lets someone hold for a decade, not just a cycle.
🔥 NEW: @SPGlobalRatings has launched DeFi vault risk assessments, examining underlying assets, curator, operational, security and governance risks.
Andrew O’Neill explains how the firm turns onchain transparency into insight on risks facing depositors.
Seed phrases weren't touched, but home addresses were. The next attack comes as a call or a letter from 'support.' Self-custody holds when you never act on contact you didn't start. No real support desk will ask for your seed.

Matches what we see. The audited Solidity core is rarely what breaks now. It's the keeper scripts, RPC config, frontends and key handling around it. Audit scope should follow the money path, not just the contracts.
Tokenized collateral moving instantly is the visible part. The part that earns trust is being able to show, at any moment, that every claim is fully backed. Mobility without provable solvency just moves risk faster.
On their quarterly earnings call, @Nasdaq CEO Adena Friedman highlighted collateral mobility as a leading near-term opportunity for tokenization, citing a Canton proof of concept with Vanguard and Wellington that moved collateral between pools “instantly” and “perfectly.”
Tokenizing assets was the first step. Making them move is the real opportunity.
That’s the financial market utility Canton is built for.
Self-custody shouldn't require becoming a security expert, but it does require a plan. Multisig or seedless, the question is the same: if you're holding for ten years, who can still move your assets, and what happens when a key is lost?
🚨 INSIGHT: Can you “be your own bank” without becoming a security expert?
Crypto executives are divided over whether self-custody is ready for beginners, as multisig and seedless wallets bring their own trade-offs.

Good to see ratings look at curator, operational, security and governance risk, not just returns. If you're holding for ten years, the question isn't what a vault pays this month. It's what has to go right for your principal to still be there.
Reserves, redemptions and custody are exactly what a long-term holder should care about in a stablecoin. Over ten years, clear rules on those three matter more than any headline. Read the redemption section first.
The question every tokenized-asset holder should ask first. A token is only as good as the legal claim, custody and redemption path behind it. If you plan to hold for ten years, read that part before anything else.
🎥 WATCH: You own the token. But do you own the stock?
Cardano Foundation CEO @F_Gregaard explains why moving an asset on-chain doesn’t always mean bringing all its ownership rights with it.

Crypto platforms are racing to tokenize stocks like it’s the next obvious win.
Unpopular opinion: what if they all ship the same product and drag users in right before the equity crash? History is full of rushes that look like progress until they land at a top. Tokenization moves custody. It doesn’t cancel drawdowns. The rush is the risk.
Our live book simulation recently removed GOOGL from the mix.
Borrowing against shares you hold instead of selling them is a real upgrade for long-term holders. The part worth getting right is the loan size: if one bad week can liquidate you, you were never holding for ten years.
Institutions coming onchain is the headline. The harder work underneath is solvency you can check any day, not once a quarter.
7,400+ RWAs on one network is the quiet headline. Tokenized assets only matter on a 10-year horizon if the rails under them stay solvent, auditable and boring. That's the part worth building for.
