Going on ESPN and shoving it right to them about how bad this is is grade A work and I salute you 🫡
Regular season implications gone.
Losing doesn’t matter.
Endless transferring.
Minimal loyalty to schools.
Everything about money.
Conference regionality gone.
Rankings rigged for two conferences (primarily one).
Every year College Football gets worse and worse. Very sad.

This is slop. Your favorite team has 20 transfers in/out every year. USC-Rutgers and Clemson-Cal are both conference games. Playoff teams with 3 losses. TV broadcast is 70% gambling ads. College Gameday has Pat McAfee interviewing Ted Cruz. Even Herbstreit’s weird now.
Game gone
NEW: College Football Playoff 24-team expansion talks will continue this week with meetings in Chicago, @PeteNakos reports.
Momentum is building for a 24-team field, with the ACC, Big 12 and Notre Dame supporting it and the SEC open to it.

*Wake Forest loses to #4 Miami, beats #16 Louisville*
“Oh my gosh, the ACC is so bad. Unrank Louisville, still a bad win for Miami, keep Wake Forest unranked.”
*Kentucky loses by 28 to Alabama, beats a bad Texas A&M team*
“LOOK AT THE DEPTH OF THE SEC! CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW TOP 25 RANKING, KENTUCKY! 💕💖🎁”
Sorry 11-1 BYU and 11-1 Louisville!
You’ve just been left out of the CFP for 9-3 Tennessee who lost to Texas, LSU, and Alabama and finished with zero ranked wins, BUT, they had a stronger strength of conference.
Better luck next year.

Why is this such a big discussion? Why is everyone making such a big deal out of this?
A guy can’t be emotional after training his ass off for six and a half months in the offseason to take his game to a new level just to get hurt in mid-September?
I’d rather see my quarterback show this level of care. Caleb, just like the rest of the people in that stadium, had no idea just how severe the injury was.
So yeah, I’d say him showing that level emotion as an instant reaction speaks more to how much he cares for the city and how bad he wants to be out there every single snap. I’d take that quality in my quarterback 100x over.

So, wins can be vacated for student athletes having their dinners paid for, but in the matter of right and wrong for the outcome of a contest, we just shrug it off?!!
The FBS Oversight Committee says in a statement that "instant replay protocols were not followed in the contest’s second-to-last play" in the Western Michigan-Michigan game, and "had the protocols been followed, the outcome of the game would have been different."
FBS oversight committee says it cannot overturn the result.

Just so I understand: The NCAA can retroactively vacate wins and losses that happened 5 years ago because a guy took a cheeseburger or made money off his image before NIL, but can’t vacate a very clear instance where the wrong team won a game after being gifted a free play!?

The Bears offense WENT OFF vs the Panthers in Week 1 🔥
Chicago was only 2 points shy of their record 61 points vs the Packers in 1980
