A conservative Hindu like Vivek Ramaswamy will do more to preserve what survives of Christian America than a secular leftist like Amy Acton who is actively working to destroy it.

The ten poorest states are, in this order: Indiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Alabama, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, West Virginia, Mississippi. All but New Mexico are red states. So my question is, if Republican economic policies are so great, why are nine of the poorest states Republican states?
Proud to cast my ballot earlier today in the Delaware primary election.
American democracy begins and ends at the ballot box. There is no more important civic duty nor fundamental right to be defended. Voting defines our freedom and makes everything possible.
Today, on National Voter Registration Day, I hope every American will take a moment to make sure you are registered, ensure your information is up to date, and make a plan to vote this November.
Do it at IWillVote.com.
The work to secure our democracy and protect our fundamental rights and freedoms is not over in this country. Each generation must join the work to preserve our democratic values and norms.
Start today. Get engaged. And together, we'll ensure American democracy lasts another 250 years and beyond.

In 2006, Raghu Mahajan was All India Rank 1 in IIT-JEE becoming the first student from Chandigarh ever to top the IIT entrance.
He took the seat almost every topper takes, Computer Science at IIT Delhi.
But two years later, he walked out.
He left for MIT in 2008 to study physics and mathematics instead. Eleven years after that, he co-wrote one of the most important physics papers of the decade, alongside one of the most influential theoretical physicists alive.
The problem had been open since 1976.
That year, Stephen Hawking showed that black holes are not perfectly black. They slowly leak radiation and, given enough time, evaporate completely. But the radiation appeared to carry no trace of whatever had fallen in. If Hawking was right, information could be destroyed forever, something quantum mechanics insists can never happen.
In 1993, physicist Don Page described what the answer would have to look like if information did survive: a curve that rises and then falls, now called the Page curve. For decades, nobody could derive that fall using the same tools Hawking himself had used.
In 2019, working in Princeton, Mahajan co-wrote one of a small group of papers that finally did. His collaborators were Ahmed Almheiri, Ying Zhao and Juan Maldacena. The paper was titled "The Page curve of Hawking radiation from semiclassical geometry."
The Institute for Advanced Study described that wave of work as coming "tantalizingly close" to resolving a paradox that had bedevilled physicists for nearly 50 years.
In 2026, that paper earned him the Frontiers of Science Award, which honours high-impact research from the past decade, presented at the International Congress of Basic Sciences in Beijing.
By then he had already made his choice. In August 2024 he chose not to take a faculty position in the United States and joined ICTS-TIFR in Bengaluru, where his colleagues include Ashoke Sen, with whom he has written papers on string theory.
He has argued that Indian string theorists working in India, taken together, have contributed more to the field than anyone outside the United States.
Sixteen years after leaving, he came home to keep working on the deepest questions in physics from Bengaluru.
"I did not feel at all that I was missing out," he wrote.

Twitter, do your magic! :)
We're looking for a video editor at @piersightspace.
You'll work closely with our in-house team to turn raw footage and B-roll into stories that explain the technology behind our satellites.
You should be comfortable editing videos for product launches, funding announcements, team culture, and more.
It's fully remote, so wherever you are in India, if this sounds like something you can help with, we'd love to hear from you.
How to apply? Just drop one video edit in the comments that best shows off your editing skills.
If it's the kind of work we're looking for, we'll be in touch.

Both photos show the same man — my father, Sanjay Kumar, 55. The second was taken this week in the ICU at KIMS Hyderabad, where machines are breathing for him. I'm his son, and this thread is my request to help save his life.

CNBC just filmed a hedge fund where every employee is an AI agent.
Payroll: $40,000 a year, all 4 of them. His last team cost $5,000,000 and burned him out of the business.
Watch him introduce the staff.
> Houston runs the place.
> Doocey is the red team. His only job is to break every trade idea before money touches it.
> Steffi, yes, Steffi Graf, marks up the charts. >Desmond runs the quant strategies over the weekend.
The human kept one job. He calls it the meat in the chair. Pressing the button.
7 or 8 people in New York, Hong Kong and California could not cover a crypto market that trades at 3am.
4 bots do. He started them on Claude Opus 4.6 and they have not slept since. 10x the output, his number, not mine.
527,000 people watched this in 8 days. Your timeline skipped it.
His forecast for Wall Street, on camera: one hedge fund manager, 1 or 2 humans under him, a swarm of agents under them. And for himself: "Maybe someday old BK will just have to be at the beach"
A hedge fund manager wrote his investors a goodbye letter. The crypto market that never closes had broken him.
17 months later CNBC filmed his new fund. 4 AI agents, zero humans on payroll, $40,000 a year all in. Nobody in it sleeps.
The letter is still on X. 769 views.
You run the same f*cking shift he quit. Hyperliquid at 3am, a Bitcoin alert in bed. You just never had $5,000,000 of payroll to prove it wasn't working.
From the letter: "Markets that never close have taken a toll that I could only fully recognize once I paused."
From the CNBC clip: "If it's 3 in the morning and I have an idea, I can just ping them. I don't have to worry about waking somebody up in the middle of the night, which I may or may not have done in the past."
7 or 8 people in New York, Hong Kong and California. $5,000,000 a year. Could not cover 3am.
4 bots, started on Claude Opus 4.6. $40,000 a year. Never off. 10x the output, his number.
> Houston is mission control. Every bot reports to him.
> Steffi, yes, Steffi Graf, marks up the charts.
>Desmond runs the quant strategies over the weekend.
> Doocey is the red team. Every thesis gets attacked before a dollar moves. Two Sigma keeps 1,700 people on that job.
Behind them sits what he calls the corporate brain. Every trade, every email, every piece of research is a node, wired to everything else in the firm "almost like neurons".
"Take a staff of 100, you've got a staff of 1,000"
"I've talked to people working at big hedge funds now. They're doing something like this."
527,000 people watched his clip in 8 days. Brian Kelly kept one job in it. He calls it the meat in the chair.
The market still never closes. He just isn't the one awake for it anymore.

Few allegations are in the media that the MDR has been introduced because of external pressure. They are giving reference to US Trade Representative (USTR) report of 2026. The USTR report has raised the following two issues:
(i) Inability of US electronic payment services suppliers to participate in the UPI ecosystem, including credit transactions on UPI, on a level playing field with RuPay.
✅ Reality:
The NPCI circular of 15.9.2026 does not allow credit transactions of UPI by any other credit card other than RuPay credit card. There is a clear policy of only allowing RuPay credit card on UPI to enable RuPay credit card to become the preferred choice of credit card amongst users in India.
(ii) NPCI market-share limitation of 30 per cent for third-party application providers (announced November 2020; enforcement date December 2026)
✅ Reality:
Although, NPCI had mandated market share limitation of 30 per cent for third-party application providers in November 2020, however, this mandate could not be implemented because companies other than the market leaders could not compete in absence of self-sustaining revenue model. Introduction of MDR on select high-value transactions will provide a self-sustaining revenue model to smaller companies to compete for higher share in the UPI ecosystem. Thus introduction of MDR has been done with the intention of allowing more domestic companies to expand their operations.
2.Contrary to misleading claims made that MDR has been introduced under external pressure, introduction of MDR on select high-value transactions will enable more domestic companies to operate under UPI. Thus, the action of introduction of MDR is a step in protecting India’s sovereignty in Electronic payment ecosystem.
3.Government of India has promoted RuPay credit and debit cards to show that people have a strong domestic alternative. In order that the RuPay credit cards continue to grow, the debit card has been kept free of MDR.
The allegation that MDR has been introduced under any external influence is patently false and misleading.
