End Quote ________________ When I seen this comment it made think of this scripture from Exodus 20:4 "thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image." Is this what it has always meant? Because that would mean it is in violation of the 2nd Commandment. Which would also mean that The institutional Church took an instrument of state murder, stripped it of its horror, gilded it, hung it in every sanctuary, and told the faithful to kneel before it. The cross became the golden calf. We also know that the symbol of Christ's suffering became the object of worship instead of the teaching of Christ. Which we also know is....Love your neighbor.
