Experiment of the day...a scone loaf. The craggy meteorite darker topping is due to using sucanat sugar on top of the loaf. Sucanat is whole cane sugar. It retains its molasses content which makes the scone flavorful. This sugar would do great in a gingerbread! #bakelab #scones
