United Skates

The world finally seems to be catching on to what skaters have known for generations - "...“You can take the goddamn building, but you can’t take the spirit,” ...It’s a quote that still resonates.” r29.co/3rFZl8m #unitedskatesdoc #blackhistory

With all the craziness in the news, we waited to share this beautiful article from @LosAngelesTimes Thank you @Phelicia30 and @dyanawinkler for speaking on such an important issue. @Worldonwheels you will be greatly missed. #unitedskatesdoc #skatelife lat.ms/3p3qTn3

The @latimes just called our film “a cinematic love letter to Black roller rink culture." #swoon — Now how do we translate all this interest into saving our closing rinks? #UnitedSkatesDoc #BlackHistoryMatters #saveOurRinks

It has been heartbreaking to hear of all the rinks closing their doors due to COVID-19, but this one is the hardest of all. #worldonwheels #RIP 💔

Shout out to our very own @lettadca paving the way for a much-needed rink in DC! Let’s make it happen. 💪🏿💪🏽💪🏾 bit.ly/3093JRN

It is an understatement to say how proud we are of the music in our film. It’s the driving force in every scene that lifts us, pumps us, and makes us cry... Today we’re excited to share that it’s now available: Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube! #unitedskatesdoc

Finally giving a long hard look at our country’s police system, this article draws attention to the policing we caught on camera outside the roller rinks & the history of racism that continues today #blacklivesmatter #amplifyblackvoices bit.ly/37AhXNZ
