I learned about ‘X’ when a client emailed me asking for some ‘Twitter/X’ graphics. So I opened the app. RIP.

@DropboxSupport @AdobeCare See attached image — I can see the file path at the top, but none of the navigation is showing up in 'folders' on the lefthand side of the screen, which helps me easily hop from folder to folder. Argh! Is there a way to get this navigation back?

Twitter got me my first job, a whole bunch of freelance work, two extremely unlikely absolute dream romantic encounters, a 7 year relationship (which I will concede ended badly), and just so many joyous, serendipitous friendships around the world…

…however, most of this stuff happened 2008 – 2018ish. Since then either I’ve been using twitter wrong, twitter has changed, or my life has changed. IF twitter does die soon I will mourn those memories, but I kinda feel like my most vibrant and exciting time here is already past

Okay it's probably good that all this Twitter furore is happening on a weekend while I am shut in a cottage in the middle of nowhere, rain pouring, and I am bored, because it FINALLY gave me the impetus to sign up for Mastodon, might as well give it a go...
