"That by desiring what is perfectly good, even when we don't quite know what it is and cannot do what we would, we are part of the divine power against evil—widening the skirts of light and making the struggle with darkness narrower."

The single must impactful move you can make for your children's future is to love your spouse. You're drifting apart? Stop drifting and start intentionally stepping towards one another. Your marriage is the core of the planet your kids live on. Act like it.

“Who can listen unmoved to the sweet love tales of our robins, told from tree to tree? or to the shrill cat birds? The sublime accents of the thrush from on high always retard my steps that I may listen to the delicious music…
There’s still a few minor tweaks we need to figure out, but generally it should be fixed!

"Sometimes I think I lost time working as a wordrunner in Bristletop," said Conraid, "but every step I took led me here, and this is where I'm meant to be. What I've learned is that the only worthy step is the next one, so long as it's in the right bearing."
“You'll never make your mark as a writer unless you develop a respect for words and a curiosity about their shades of meaning that is almost obsessive. The English language is rich in strong and supple words. Take the time to root around and find the ones you want.”
