A viral parallel this field knows well. HIV. In HIV-HAND, cerebral hypoperfusion is documented - chronic viral involvement in the CNS, with cognition and fatigue grinding along below the clinical threshold, missed by routine imaging. HAND, we've learned to hold back with treatment. In long COVID we have the finding without the therapy.

Someone is literally posting on the Flu page saying they lost their taste and smell last March like it is a mystery.
They are now at 6 months later, asking for any tips to bring it back.
Tip #1:
It was Covid.
Loosing smell/taste is the Covid signature move, and in this case it was the spring variant BA.3.2 edition.
Tip #2: You cannot sweep it off the floor and call it all gone. It doesn’t work that way. 😭

Not only did the Ford government saddle families with more financial burden with the change to the OSAP program - the implementation of their new program is leaving students and families in the dark about the financial implications for them.
