Calling women “neighbors with a uterus” is reductive and disrespectful.
Women are not defined by a single organ, and the phrase deliberately avoids the ordinary, clear word “women” in favor of clinical language that flattens personhood into anatomy. That choice is not neutral; it is a rhetorical move that treats half the population as a body part rather than full human beings.
Language like this does not expand respect. It erodes it!
