@One_BCHQ’s Gender Ideology Task Force, led by the Premier and Health Minister, would:
• Restore sex-based rights in B.C. law
• Remove gender identity from the Human Rights Code
• Keep female sports female, at school and in the community
• Reserve change rooms, washrooms, shelters and prisons for females
• Record biological sex on birth certificates and ID, and end "X" markers
• End gender identity teaching in K–12
• Require parents be told what's happening at school, with no social transition without their consent
• Biology-based sex ed, with parental notice and opt-out
• No compelled pronouns for students or staff
• Ban blockers, hormones and surgeries under 19
• Amend the Infants Act so minors can't consent to medical transition

OneBC proposes the establishment of a provincial Gender Ideology Task Force, headed by the Premier, the Minister of Health, and three other MLAs, with a clear mandate: to restore biological sex as the foundation of law, policy, and public institutions in British Columbia.
The Task Force will draft and coordinate the legislative, regulatory, and administrative action needed to remove gender identity from the Human Rights Code, schools, sports, medical practice for minors, and official identification. Its work will prioritize the protection of women’s and girls’ rights, the safeguarding of children from experimental medical interventions, and the primacy of parental authority.

Yesterday, an 11-year-old girl from Cranbrook, BC, told us that in her school, if you are an Indigenous student, you can go to a special room with a fridge stacked with snacks accessible anytime.
White kids are not allowed in that room. I’m disgusted by this, and if you are not outraged, what are we doing here?

On behalf of Canada, I made the sacrifice of flying on a FULL Air Canada plane from Vancouver to Honolulu.
Apparently I wasn’t the only Canadian making this sacrifice.
Made sure to keep my elbows up and push the policies Canadians expect.
Asked shops why they didn’t have Pride stickers in their windows.
Why the bathrooms were clearly marked men or women. No guessing required.
And why the Pride Parade was only a short period on a Saturday during “shoulder season.”
Only part of one day? Not a whole month?
Had conversations with former military. Made sure they knew we were Canadian.
They still wanted to talk to us.
Americans were even offering condolences to our military from Wainwright. They’d seen it on their socials and in the news.
There I was, keeping my elbows up, and they had to go and show they cared.
Asked why their gasoline was about the same price as Vancouver when they have to import all their oil.
Wondered why I wasn’t seeing open drug use on the streets and beaches.
Where was all the “safe supply”?
People were friendly and talkative. Especially in stores.
They actually offered to help.
Orders were correct.
Made sure to keep my elbows up. Can’t let this kind of treatment weaken my commitment.
Drivers must have known we were Canadians in our rental. They even gave us room on the roads.
I’ll keep investigating from the beach.

More than 120 students signed a petition calling for McGill University to allow a 61-year old man who strangled a woman to death and left another severely disabled back on campus. The killer is serving a life sentence but living in a halfway house and is allowed to attend the law school.
The parole board refused his day parole request in 2022, judging him to be a "moderate to high risk of re-offending," but the refusal was overridden by a court that found that board erred in not taking account his Indigenous identity in reaching its decision. The Gladue Laws require leniency for indigenous criminals. His parole was briefly rescinded in May 2025 after it was found that he had collected the phone numbers of various women but has since been restored.
The McGill law student's association accused the university of "undermining the principle of rehabilitation."
"“We are shocked by the reactive manner in which McGill University has responded to this issue,” the association’s executive wrote Saturday in an email obtained by The Gazette.
“As law students, we are taught to recognize the injustices perpetuated by the criminal justice system and to understand the importance of rehabilitation and offenders’ rights,” the email said. “It is therefore especially disappointing when our university, presented with an opportunity to guide us through critical learning, fails.”
With 120 student lawyers like this, Canada's justice system can look forward to becoming even more fucked than it is already is.
