this is pitched briefly as an in-universe book in a Borges short story but has anyone ever actually written a murder mystery novel where the principal "solution" to the crime offered by the text is, sub-textually, implied to be "wrong"?

everyone go read jorge joestar if you want more erina. one chapter in the book focuses squarely on her and dio and it has arguably some of the best characterization of them both that the whole franchise has to offer
