So torn on Crystal Lake, the aesthetic, set design, Easter eggs, and performances were fantastic, Amazing to see Blairstown back. But wow, the story and what it does to nearly 50 years of lore are so bad. Jason is a revenant, created when his mother dies, not an experiment. 🤦

I was watching the play clock and the game clock at the south end. The play clock hit zero before the game clock. They were NOT in sync, regardless of what Bill Vinovich claims. That should have been delay of game.
I found Lovecraft through Robert E Howard and was so excited in 1983 when I found there was a role-playing game based on his works. Thank you so much for decades of pure terrifying enjoyment.
In 1980, I wrote the roleplaying game "Call of Cthulhu".
At that time, every single person I knew who'd heard of Lovecraft did so because I had told them personally. Lovecraft was an unknown. A vanishingly obscure pulp author.
When Chaosium asked me to write the roleplaying game, we expected Call of Cthulhu to be a real niche produce. To sell a three or four thousand copies tops to the few hard-core Lovecraft fans in the world, and then go out of print. I put my heart and soul into it anyway because I loved Lovecraft so much, and I wanted to make sure my few fellow Lovecraftians would have the best game possible.
Well, instead of the game being based and fed by Lovecraft fans, instead the game PROMOTED Lovecraft and spread knowledge of his works everywhere. It quickly became Chaosium's best-selling product. Every gamer knew about it, even if they didn't play it.
My proudest achievement is that I have had literally thousands of people walk up to me at conventions and tell me that they read Lovecraft after playing Call of Cthulhu. Others (three times tearfully) told me that they were so excited to see that someone else knew about Lovecraft. This last event is now rare, because now everyone knows about Lovecraft.
I am so glad I have been a tiny part of bringing cosmic horror to so many.

I cannot believe I’m saying this, but do NOT send any of your hard earned money to Cyberleek just to vote in these polls.
He is now charging people to vote on whether GTA 6 story/prologue footage gets leaked, meaning he profits regardless of whether you vote yes or no.
And please do not actually show up outside Rockstar or Take-Two offices dressed as a “leek” holding game discs because Cyberleek asked for “10 gamers” to do it.
There are families struggling, charities that genuinely need support, and people who could actually benefit from that money. If you’re willing to donate, please give it to someone who needs it, not a cybercriminal monetizing stolen GTA 6 material.
