The launch of the Independent Self-Regulatory Body (SRB) by @BWA_Ind is a defining moment for India's VDA industry.
For the first time, the sector has a common framework covering fair trading and market integrity, cybersecurity, safeguarding of customer assets and data, transparent token listing, consumer protection, grievance redressal and responsible marketing, with regular reviews of AML/CFT practices.
It was an honour to be part of the launch and to hear from Shri Rohit Kumar Singh, Chairperson-SRB, and Dr. Praggya Das, Member-SRB. Their experience in consumer protection and central banking gives the SRB real credibility. Thank you also to Shri Dilip Chenoy and the BWA team for making this happen.

Today, Bharat Web3 Association (BWA) officially launched its Self-Regulatory Body (SRB), marking an important milestone in advancing responsible governance and self-regulation in India’s Virtual Digital Asset (VDA) sector.
The SRB will focus on strengthening industry practices across cybersecurity, token listing, fair trading, consumer protection and responsible marketing.
We extend our sincere thanks to all BWA members for their continued trust, support and commitment to this initiative as we work collectively towards a more transparent, secure and responsible VDA ecosystem in India.
