Reminder: #wecantmarch isn't there to silence or shame protestors, it's to highlight where disabled people are pushed aside & alienated
Hear that, funders? ;) RT @thedharmablues: Every city needs an @umbrellaproject.
Thanks! MT @thedharmablues: Daytime section of @umbrellaproject was pretty powerful stuff. I recommend visiting #York just for this alone.

Sorry, that was a bit rude. We've been quiet. It's been a while. How are you? We're still here. Sort of hibernating.
Hello, in or around York? Did you know 3 free soundwalk downloads beckon you...? bit.ly/umbrellaprojectdownlo…
It made us grin like Cheshire Cats. & All soundwalks still available for free download if you're York based or bound: bit.ly/umbrellaprojectdownlo…
A wonderful email from a stranger y/day: 'Amazing concept, words & music, beautifully performed & put together. What a wonderful project'
I am now past-tense: umbrellaproject.co.uk/ (though the big downloads button is still active!)
Thank you for following me. Temptation to hibernate but a small few exciting things to follow. Plus also bit.ly/umbrellaprojectdownlo… beckons you...
So, this is the day after the five weeks before. Over 100 stories, 27 hours of standing in the cold and 1 & a half hours of soundwalk later.
Morning, York! We'll be out with our inflatable thingy for the final day today, telling folk about the soundwalks/downloads. Do say hello!
Also you can download your very own copy of any of the walks, and the info on where and what time to do them at bit.ly/umbrellaprojectdownlo… ^_^
Hello, York, we will be hanging around with umbrellas and lendable mp3 players from 5pm by the central library. Soundwalk 3 is go!
We'll be out today with the final event, and in Parliament street tomorrow spreading the word about all the completed downloads. Hurrah!
'Commute' is to be done in the daylight after dawn or before dusk, you will need a pen/pencil+piece of paper with you.. bit.ly/umbrellaprojectdownlo…
