It's a shame that an individual who puts their life forth to defend the nations earned a meagre salary of 49k.
Even the newly increased payment of 187k, despite been an upgrade, is also too low for the kind of service they render in this economy.
Hopefully their will be another raise very soon.

I was honoured to serve as the compere for the Formal Opening of the MSSN University of Ibadan Jihad Week 2026 with Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salis as the keynote speaker, among other important dignitaries and personalities.
It was a homecoming event for me as I also proudly served as the week's committee chairman as a 100 level student of the University. It felt just like yesterday.
