It’s been a bit, so why not a #kubernetes tip of the day - startupProbes are great but make sure you give them enough time for your container to start. Be generous cause your container is probably slow.

Can I take a moment to complain that “endpoints” is the only plural #kubernetes resource? How am I supposed to refer to multiple of them?! “Multiple endpoints objects” or “endpointses”?!

Arc Raiders is a pretty solid game. Got knocked down by somebody and he died to a tick while I was watching. Wish I had OBS setup, cause I’ll never repeat that. I can only imagine the person who walks in next to find 4 unlooted bodies and a stupid spider running around.

Your validating or mutating webhook should not validate or mutate itself, otherwise you can end up not being able to update your webhook cause your webhook is rejecting itself. Doh. #kubernetes
It’s been a bit, but time for a #kubernetes tip of the day. If you’ve had a deployment around for a while (since before v1.9), you probably want to go check the revisionHistoryLimit as the default used to be 2^31-1 and you really don’t want that many replicasets lying around.
After months of waiting I finally got my @Chessnutech2022 Move and I gotta say this thing is janky. Would not recommend right now. Hardware is ok, but feels cheap and software is horrendous. Already replaced one base, charging mat seems flaky and the UI of the app is just bad.
Siri is so broken. “Outside lights on” works fine. “Outside lights off” responds with “I’m sorry you can’t turn off a scene.” Seriously how is this so broken. You just turned on the scene, turn it off. Ffs.
