I do not think you can experience love in its fullest expression in an entirely survivalist world like Nigeria. I think love here will always be an act of reaching, of stretching yourself towards something that circumstances will never quite allow you to have in full. There will always be something standing in the way, and one of those things is character. There is a certain kind of character a lover ought to possess: mellow, calm, sweet, open, translucent; the kind that allows another person to come into your life and find a place to rest without having to endlessly tussle for the privilege. But I fear that the struggle to survive has robbed so many of us of the opportunity to become such people. You can hear it in our music, too, in the way the idea of love has gradually been displaced by the need to make money, as though money could ever reproduce the tenderness of being loved, the solace of being understood, or the peculiar peace of knowing that somebody has chosen to make a home of you. I do feel that those who came before us were the ones who got to experience love more fully, more completely, in this country, which is why it hurts all the more to see them support Tinubu, a man whose very ideals are diametrically opposed to tenderness, to humanity, and to the very possibility of experiencing love in its fullest, most intimate form here in Nigeria.

in April, we started working on getting our NAFDAC import license for some of the raw materials we get from Germany and China. I reached out to an agent someone introduced me to, the guy quoted 200k to help me complete the reg and get the license. i offered to pay him the 200k, but he will have to walk me through the process end-to-end, so i will be the person uploading the docs instead of giving him access to our portal to do it, which is how they typically work; he refused! he said i want to learn his work. the reason i like to be involved is that I have had a case where these agents fabricated docs on our behalf without our consent and submitted them to NAFDAC. their only goal is to complete the reg and collect that 200k from you. they have done hundreds of similar reg for other brands, so they know how to duplicate similar docs for any business and submit them to NAFDAC without them even knowing + they have relationships in NAFDAC/Customs that they use to get the docs approved without much scrutiny. I had to go for a week-long training program by NSW in Apapa, to learn how to do it myself. Not that i dont have 200k to give an agent, but i have seen how these people operate. the anyhowness and lack of integrity. that's why i dont completely blame NAFDAC for this fake products issue. It's the whole system around them; the agents helping people get a license with fake docs, the manufacturers printing labels and packaging (someone comes to you print packaging for a drink and you know they are not the owners but you still go ahead and print it for them) the distributors and wholesalers buying those items from them because it’s cheaper or just ignorance. We need more people with integrity and good morals in the value chain. NAFDAC alone cannot fix this!

Society has mastered the art of giving ugly things pretty names to protect people’s egos. Prostitutes = Adult content creators. Mentally ill people= LGBTQ Promiscuity = Sexual liberation Gold digging = Knowing your worth Manipulation = Being strategic Arrogance = High self esteem Commitment issues = Keeping my options open Lacking accountability = Protecting my truth People have become so obsessed with sounding acceptable that they’ve forgotten how to be accountable.

6 SIX Things I Do To My Husband That Works for my Marriage. 1. I take permission from him before going to where I'm going. — For me, this is what my sister and I do to my dad while I was under his roof. I don't leave the house without their permission and telling them where I'm going to for security reasons. So doing the same to my husband is only morally right, and if he says No, so be it. 2. My husband is one who forgives easily and doesn't keep grudges in his heart so when communicates his displeasure, it is off his mind. I understands his person, hence I always go on my knees to apologize to him when I know i wronged him. I know what I have and I will never allow pride destroy my place in my marriage. 3. I don't Joke with my husband's food. — Whether he's hungry for my body or the actual meal, I ensure he's well fed. His lunch bag is packed full with his meal and other edibles with a mintol chewing gum to keep his breath fresh as always. 4. I DON'T, and I will NEVER let anyone disrespect my husband. This is one of the reasons when I hang out with the girls I don't bring my husband at the table of discussion. Some of them do, but never will I. Cos that is where disrespect begins and I will not flip that dice against my husband. 5. No SECRECY. — i know his phone password, he knows mine. We have access to each other's phone. There was a day hubby was rushing to the office cos a client was waiting for him. Hubby went with my phone unknowingly 😅😅 I didn't even notice until I heard his phone ringing then lo and behold, it was ♥️♥️ (me) calling. There he told me he didn't occur to him that it was my phone he went to work with.😅😅 I simply log in on 𝕏 with his phone and continued my day. 6. I don't talk back at my husband nor interrupt him when he speaks — Not that I don't have what to say in my defense, but overtime, i have learnt to zip my mouth when my parent or older brothers talk. I only speak when the atmosphere is less intense, then I go to him and first apologize for how my actions made him feel as at the time, then tell him why I did what I did. Oftentimes, when he sees reason as to why I did what I did, he apologized to me for reading me wrongly. BONUS TIP. 7. When it comes to financial Management, Business, and Decision — We allow the person who has strength in that area handle certain decisions for the household while your carry your partner along. — Say for example. I am big on the aspect of business investment and financial management. This doesn't mean my husband has zero knowledge of the same. But that he recognizes my strength and allow me handle certain financial matters while I carry him along. All of these are for the betterment of the family. One will chase a thousand but two will chase ten thousands. ........... I hope you find this tips helpful. I would love to share more but then, what works for Mr A cannot work for Mr B. Every marriage is unique, and whatever works for your marriage should be maintained. . . Thanks for reading this far... 📖 📚

1. I will not apologise to you just because I want peace to reign when you are the one who wronged me. I’d rather lose the relationship. If you cannot hold yourself accountable, you are not the person for me. 2. I do not tolerate disrespect. Not even as a joke. Especially not as a joke. 3. If you have a problem with cooking for your partner, I’m not the person for you. 4. You don’t ever have to worry about cooking because it’s one of the things I genuinely enjoy doing. However, this doesn’t negate what I said in number three. 5. Unless you are deep into fitness like me and are posting your gains, you cannot be posting your bum on social media. I’m not a “mature” boyfriend. 6. My obligation is to treat you right and love you softly, genuinely, and intentionally. But if you cannot reciprocate that energy, I’ll leave you. 7. You cannot have a male bestie under my regime. 8. Dates are important to me. I will initiate, plan, and pay for most of them, but you must also initiate, plan, and pay for some dates. I’m a baby boy too. 9. If I tell you that something you did hurt me, don’t tell me it’s not that deep. I will not let you gaslight or manipulate me into questioning my feelings. Don’t dismiss my feelings, ever. 10. Cheating is a deal-breaker. I will not forgive you for it. 11. Access to phones is important to me. This doesn’t mean I’m interested in going through your phone, but if you suddenly start guarding it around me, I’ll assume you’re hiding something. 12. I don’t want to hear about what your ex did for you. If you keep bringing him or your exes up unnecessarily, I will leave you. 13. I like sex, and I’m considerate. I also understand that I don’t own your body. However, if my sexual needs are consistently neglected, I’ll leave you. 14. Even when you are angry, talk to me softly. We can disagree without being cruel to each other. Don’t raise your voice at me, talk to me like a decent adult. 15. If you need a break from the relationship, please don’t come back. 16. Don’t use a breakup as a threat, a weapon, or a joke whenever we have a minor misunderstanding. If you tell me you want to end the relationship, I will respect your decision, and there will be no coming back from it.
As a strict person, what are your relationship dos and don'ts? What are some of your non-negotiables?

Everything was a tool in the hands of colonizers. They printed it in millions and sent it to schools. Epistemically warfare at its peak. Your love for America and your desire to travel while hating Africa was done by such mental manipulation. The Bible is supposed to be a good book but that’s not their business. They did what they had to do to make sure you saw them as superior. The colonizer does not do anything just because. They plan and organise especially when it comes to controlling the mind of people. Many children grew up with the desire to leave and still don’t know why. Psychological warfare is one of the greatest tools of imperialist and it’s everywhere

As a man, I've learnt.... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person I've learnt.... That when you're in love, it shows I've learnt.... That just one person saying to me, 'You've made my day!' makes my day I've learnt... That being kind is more important than being right. I've learnt... That you should never say no to a gift from a child I've learnt... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way I've learnt... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with I've learnt... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes I've learnt... That money doesn't buy class I've learnt... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved I've learnt... That to ignore the facts does not change the facts I've learnt... That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am. I've learnt... That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

The Nigerian Banking and Tax system has been handed over to FRANCE 🇫🇷 Our Mines and resources worth $700 billion, was handed over to USA 🇺🇸 Our Defence tech and digital data handed over to USA 🇺🇸 Our strategic Seaport handed over to Britain 🇬🇧 Nigerian Lithium and cobalt mines were handed over to Australia 🇦🇺 Our Health data has been handed over to the USA 🇺🇸 Tell me what is left of the Nation called NIGERIA to serve her 250 million population? NOTHING! These are the exact same people with history of unaliving our monarchs and enslaving our people. The same people invaded, pillaged, raped and looted our resources and artifacts that's still sitting in their museum till date. Are we truly independent??

Keeping everyone (including Africans) completely ignorant about Africa and the central role it plays in the economic and natural world is a core feature of Europeanised education, not a bug. You're not supposed to know that the DRC is the most resource-rich country in the world, with an estimated $24 trillion sitting under its soil. You're not supposed to know that the rise of "western civilisation" from the 15th century on was entirely made possible by European contact with Africa, and that the resources and labour extracted from coastal West Africa from 1492 onwards are the entire reason why both American continents exist in their current form. You're not supposed to know that both WW1 and WW2 were essentially wars fought over the right to African colonial domination and expansion, and that even the uranium that was used in "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki came from Shinkolobwe uranium mine in eastern DRC. You're not supposed to know that the reason the country of France exists in its current form is because tens of thousands of conscripted West African soldiers fought and won against the Nazis in Europe, and the French thereafter shipped them back to West Africa and massacred them at Camp Thiaroye in Senegal to avoid paying them their due wages. You're not supposed to know that there was nothing cold about the so-called Cold War, because the vast majority of the hot theaters it was physically fought in were on the continent of Africa. (Zimbabwe, DRC, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Angola, Eritrea, Zambia etc). You're not supposed to know that the ongoing Ukraine war and the war in the Sahel are in fact the same conflict being fought by the same 2 sides, and that the reason France is desperately pushing funding and arms to Ukraine even as it falls into internal crisis is that Ukraine is acting as its proxy army in West Africa, as it tries to regain its lost colonial territories there, especially Niger where the cheap yellowcake uranium for its famously cheap nuclear energy used to come from before the 2023 revolution. You're definitely not supposed to know that the entire global economy and system of trade as you know it is built on ruthless extraction from Africa and ensuring that Africa does not control anything it exports. You're not supposed to know that "Italian leather" doesn't come from Italy - it comes from Kano, Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that "Swiss chocolate" does not exist because cocoa does not grow anywhere in Switzerland or Europe - it comes from Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that Israel and the UAE control the global diamond and gold markets even though Israel has no diamond mine and the UAE has zero gold mines, because both resources are literally being stolen from the DRC and Sudan on an industrial basis. You're basically not supposed to understand that the entire geopolitical world as you know it, rests entirely on extraction from Africa, poverty of Africans, and your own ignorance about where everything you use comes from. Completely deliberate 500+ year-old feature, not accidental bug.
How did school teach us about the Amazon so much & never once mention the Congo Basin? It's the world's largest tropical carbon sink. The planet is literally breathing through it & nobody thought we should know 😳

Here are some rhetorical questions. 1. Which entity is Africa's largest trading partner and only source of meaningful technology transfer, infrastructure investment and material upliftment via cheap consumer goods? 2. For which entity did the US govt recently dedicate a $1.6bn propaganda budget to fight its growing influence in the world? 3. Materially speaking as an African, which of these 2 entities has had a measurable positive impact on your quality of life? The one building your railways and giving you cheap technology, or the one spending billions to invade your mind and place poisoned information there? 4. Why are you suddenly seeing videos and narratives like "Chinese woman holds her nose when African woman boards bus" being promoted aggressively across US government-controlled platforms like this one? Whose interest do these things serve? Yours? Or theirs? Learn to be skeptical. Gullible people who take everything presented to them at face value will likely not survive this decade.
Nigeria's "China Must Go" Bandwagon: Who's Writing the Script? Nigeria's commercial capital Lagos recently witnessed an outpouring of anti-Chinese sentiment allegedly caused by the encroachment of Chinese merchants into the last-mile retail space at the expense of local traders. While the upheaval might appear on the surface to be the organic and understandable result of a tough economic situation, @Big_Mck's latest story is another reminder that Africans living in the Age of Information are duty-bound to exercise healthy skepticism and carefully examine every social movement before lending their energies to it. The Spearhead's Senior Reporter has been looking into what has quietly been happening in the background of the supposed anti-China movement in Nigeria, and some familiar patterns and suspects are lurking yet again.

Here are 5 universal laws of life that you must commit to understanding: 1. Murphy’s Law Anything that can go wrong, eventually will go wrong. 2. Kidlin’s Law: If you can write the problem down clearly, you’ve already solved half of it. 3. Wilson’s Law If you put value and intelligence first, money will show up. 4. Falkland’s Law When you don’t have to make a decision, don’t make one. 5. Gilbert’s Law Most conflict is caused by unspoken problems. So, problem solved by speaking up. Which of these laws are you already familiar with? And which one did you find interesting?

Remember the mineral agreement Nigeria just signed with America? Moving materials to Lagos port it's not for you Nigerians it's for the owners
Nigeria is proposing a 360km/h high-speed rail line from Lagos to Maiduguri, a potentially transformative link between the South-West and North-East. The Federal Government says the project is intended to reduce dependence on road transport, but no construction timeline, confirmed cost or completion date has yet been announced. For Nigerians, the real prize would be dramatically shorter intercity journeys, safer long-distance travel, less pressure on highways and potentially cheaper movement of people and goods. One correction: calling it the “second-fastest bullet train in the world” is premature. At 360km/h it would be exceptionally fast, but China’s CR450 is designed for 400km/h commercial operation, while Shanghai’s maglev has operated above 400km/h. For now, this is an ambitious plan not yet a railway under construction.
