While it would take until 2022 for Manchester City to top the football world in revenues, their growth during the years they were breaching rules was huge.
In 2008-09, the last before the disguised funding scheme commenced, City’s £87million revenue was just 25 per cent of Real Madrid’s. Nine years later that figure was 75 per cent, and City were football’s fifth-highest earners. Strip out the £135m in 'disguised funding' that year, and they would have been 10th.

On Wednesday, just hours after the verdict officially confirming Manchester City’s guilt, the Commission responsible for Portugal's witness protection programme informed me of its decision to terminate my participation in the programme and withdraw my police protection, thereby knowingly placing me in a life-threatening situation.
Given these circumstances, I have no alternative but to relocate, within the next few days, to an undisclosed location for an indefinite period of time, due to the multiple death threats I have received and the serious risk of an assassination attempt against me.
For this reason, I have just set up a GoFundMe campaign and I am asking for everyone's support to help me survive this serious situation created by the Portuguese State, which, as I have already stated, has knowingly decided to place my life at risk.

As discussed earlier, #MCFC's appeal hinges on the premise the AD Government not their ownership covered sponsorship of around £830m (on top of almost £120m of non-disputed sponsorship), which the panel call “sham” commercial payments.
#MCFC argue witnesses, wire transfers and bank statements show otherwise, as alluded to in Ferran Soriano's video to club staff.
Panel’s view is this argument was “concocted well after the event”.

ـــــ إدانة السيتي في جميع التهم تقريبًا عدا تهمة واحدة، بعد جلسات استماع مطولة استمرت 12 أسبوعًا فُحصت فيها كافة الأدلة والشهادات بدقة.
ـــــ فرص إسقاط الإدانة عبر الاستئناف تبدو شبه مستحيلة؛ لأن وقائع القضية حُسمت، ولن تُعاد مراجعة الأدلة وسماع الشهود من الصفر كما حدث سابقًا في (CAS).
