Today, @MoICT_Ug joined partners to launch the #MTNSparkHub at Busitema University, a new space designed to give students and the wider community access to digital tools, mentorship and opportunities to turn ideas into practical solutions.
The Hub is more than a facility equipped with computers and connectivity. It is part of Government’s wider digital transformation agenda to expand access to digital infrastructure and create an environment where young people can innovate, build businesses and develop solutions to challenges in their communities.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. @azawedde, Permanent Secretary @MoICT_Ug, emphasised that digital transformation is not about the number of computers we install, but about the difference technology makes in people’s lives.

But connectivity alone is not enough. AI ensures that once people are online, they can access information and services in ways that are practical, inclusive, and transformative.
