Why does this matter?
Academia often leaves researchers without support for challenges like imposter syndrome and cultural isolation, especially when working far from home. We’re here to change that.
Our workshop initiative “EmoLeaders: Leading with Emotional Intelligence Across Borders,” is officially funded by the @BerlinUAlliance! We aim to empower post/doctoral+ researchers with emotional intelligence skills to become fearless leaders, and cross-cultural collaborators

I’m a researcher at a scrappy start up with limited budget, and every day I encounter papers behind a pay wall that literally slows down the pace at which I can consume information in my field.
If you’re a researcher bothered by this problem, give it a share or start posting papers you couldn’t access.
We can use our voices for change.

We pour hours into our posters, only for them to be displayed for maybe three hours before heading to the trash. Apart from hanging one in my office, is there any #sustainable future for these?
It costs $89-$199 for a poster printing
Estimated $260.000-$597.000 for ~3k posters (main conference)
$0.5M dollars go to the trash bin right after 3 hours 😭
