Too many people in Web3 lie on their resumes. It might get you through the door, but it never gets you far. Let鈥檚 talk about how this really affects teams, how founders can spot it and why honesty is your biggest long term edge. 馃У

CT will spend an hour telling you never to trust a bank. then paste its private key into a telegram bot to buy a memecoin a few seconds faster. this morning 9,408 SOL got drained from wallets that had used one of those bots. we didn't kill the middleman. we hired a faster one and handed it the keys. be honest. would you still use the bot if it was ten seconds slower?

being hated for what you actually said at least feels earned. being hated for a version of you someone invented is just working unpaid as their villain

everyone in crypto says they're here for freedom. ask what freedom means and you get the first answer. no boss, no alarm, no commute. fair. that's the obvious one. but sit with it a little longer and a second question shows up. if nobody owns your time now, why does it still feel owned? you quit the boss who wanted you at 9 and found one that wants you at 3am. it doesn't pay a salary, it doesn't give weekends, and it never says good job. it's the chart. the group chat. the fear that the one hour you look away is the hour it all happens. that's the part nobody warns you about. you can leave a job in a day, but leaving the need to be watching takes years. so maybe freedom was never the absence of a boss. maybe it's having nothing you can't walk away from. not money you can't stop counting. not a position you can't stop checking. not an identity that falls apart on a red day. the test is simple. close the app on a busy day and notice what happens in your chest. if it's quiet, you're free. if it panics, you just changed bosses.

$ADA 's treasury is being asked to become a copper trader 22 million ADA about $5 million for metal sitting in a US warehouse only about two thirds of that buys copper the rest goes to fees and running it so copper needs to rise around 49% just to break even oh and the copper tokens launch on ethereum first i'm not against the copper i'm against what it says a chain's treasury is the one pile of money meant to bet on the chain when a commodity trade makes it to a real vote the builder pipeline is telling you something so cardano people i'm asking for real is your chain short on copper or short on things worth building

AI made everyone faster this year so why isn't anyone richer Apollo's chief economist just put out the charts revenue per worker and margins are climbing for the seven tech giants for the other 493 companies in the S&P they're flat the obvious answer is that it's early the gains take time but sit with it for a second if millions of people really are working faster that time went somewhere i think it went into more work you answer emails faster so you get more emails you ship faster so the deadline moves up the report that took a day now takes an hour so now you write six the gain didn't disappear it got passed up the chain as expectations and the only companies booking it as profit are the ones selling the tool crypto ran this experiment already every cycle the volume charts went up and the people grinding hardest were rarely the ones getting paid speed isn't leverage leverage is when the hour you saved stays yours so for everyone using AI every day what did you actually get back more time or just more tasks

nobody talks about how lonely crypto got i noticed it a few weekends ago. the week ended flat. i'd been grinding for days and there was nobody to tell about it in the NFT days i had a group chat that never slept. we argued about art at 3am. we roasted rival projects. when one of us got wrecked the others showed up now it's me and a chart most of us went solo without ever deciding to. memecoins don't need friends. you buy alone and you sell alone and you post the win alone here's what that does to you when nobody sees your effort the only proof you're doing ok becomes your PnL. so a red week stops feeling like a red week. it feels like a verdict on you and you start taking bigger swings just to have something worth saying out loud i don't think we miss the jpegs we miss having witnesses so this weekend i'm doing something small. messaging three people i used to grind with. not to swap alpha. to ask how they're actually doing a room of three honest people beats a timeline of three thousand strangers if you're grinding alone right now and it feels heavier than the market explains that might be why

the AI agent revolution is finally here the agents are farming airdrops we were told agents would run companies trade while we sleep do our taxes this week my feed is full of tutorials teaching your agent to paste a mint link into a wallet for a $7 NFT three years of humans pretending to be fifty wallets for an airdrop and the first real job we gave the machines was the same one so did the agents get smarter or did farming just get a new costume

a luxury brand partnering with a memecoin trader isn't a win for crypto luxury has always partnered with whoever just got rich oil money tech money athlete money now it's memecoin money the brand isn't betting on the industry it's betting on one wallet staying full a win for the industry is the day that counter takes your stablecoins and nobody films it so what is CT really cheering the tech or the bag

the most famous crypto fund just took crypto off its door a16z crypto is now @a16zfrontier @chrismd10 says they aren't stepping back. i believe him. the money is still there but look at who gets to do this a fund can rename itself in one post the LPs get an email. the portfolio stays the same. nothing is lost you can't you spent years telling your family this was the future your bags have tickers not mandates your CV says crypto in big letters that's the part nobody posted yesterday capital gets to be loyal to an outcome people end up loyal to a word and the word is what you're left holding when the smart money moves on to the next one i'm not saying leave i'm still here i'm saying know what you're actually loyal to the tech the money or the tribe name in your bio because a16z just told you which one they picked

most people don't quit crypto on their worst day they quit on a boring tuesday when nothing even happened i almost did. no liquidation. no rug. just another flat week of opening the app all day and closing it with the same knot in my stomach the red days never broke me the red days had a story. you lose and you get angry and anger keeps you showing up what breaks people is the slow leak months of grinding with nothing to point at. friends asking how the crypto thing is going. a timeline full of guys saying never give up while you're quietly running out of reasons so you start reading tiredness as a signal i'm exhausted so this must be wrong but tired and wrong are two different things. one needs sleep. the other needs a decision and almost nobody makes a good decision from the bottom of a quiet month so now i have one rule i'm not allowed to quit during a flat or red stretch. if i still want out i write down why and pick a date 30 days away. then i decide with a clear head most of the time that note reads like someone else wrote it the market doesn't need you motivated every day it needs you to not make your biggest call on your most tired one

which is why so many people at 5M still trade like they're at 100k. the risk that made sense when you were escaping a job stops making sense once there's nothing left to escape

every crypto success story is the same three photos the car the watch the window seat on someone else's jet the real wins never get posted your mom quit her second job the loan is gone you slept through a red week those don't trend because they don't make anyone feel behind and making you feel behind is the product so when yours hits are you posting the car or the quiet one

everyone wants the before and after nobody wants the middle the middle is month eight. you're better than when you started but not good enough for anyone to notice. the money hasn't shown up. the followers haven't shown up. and every day someone who started after you posts their win this is where most people quit. not at the start when it's exciting. not at the end when it's working. in the quiet middle where effort and results feel completely disconnected here's what i wish someone told me earlier the middle isn't a waiting room. it's where the actual skill gets built. every boring rep you do when nobody is watching compounds into something you can't see yet. real growth stays invisible for a long time and then suddenly looks obvious the people you envy didn't skip the middle you just weren't watching when they were in it so if you're there right now feeling like nothing is working that feeling is the toll everyone who made it paid it keep going

a lot of us aren't waiting for altseason we're waiting for permission to start living i know because i did it. for a whole year one sentence ran in my head. when the bags run i'll quit the job. when the bags run i'll move out. when the bags run i'll take the thing i'm building seriously the bags didn't run. the year went anyway what's going on underneath is quieter than greed. hope feels like progress. holding a bag and waiting for the cycle gives you the feeling of being on the way somewhere without ever making a decision. the market becomes the reason you haven't changed yet. and as long as the season is coming you never have to find out what you'd do without it so the market ends up holding more than your money it's holding your calendar altseason is weather. it can be great weather. nobody sane builds a life on a forecast try this tonight. write down every plan you've parked until the pump. then go line by line and ask if it really needs the money or just needs you to stop waiting most of that list won't need the money if the season comes it'll find you already moving if it doesn't you'll still have the year
