Adderall crash affirmations: You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.
ADDERALL AFFIRMATIONS: - I AM A FUCKING WEAPON - I AM FUCKING INVINCIBLE - I AM NOT HUMAN - I AM A PERFECTLY DESIGNED TOOL - EVERY CELL IN MY BODY IS SCREAMING AND FIGHTING - I AM NOT A HUMAN - I WILL TEAR MYSELF OPEN AND BECOME SOMETHING GREATER THAN ALL THIS

what if you're really adhd/cptsd and you wanna try becoming productive but willpower doesn't seem to work, so you research what are the prerequisites to being productive, and you realize that emotional management seems to be important (bc youre avoiding your most important work bc it gives you the most extreme panic, for wtvr reason), so you research what makes people good w their emotions and you find meditation/therapy - but you can't really meditate or even relax properly for like 5 minutes without feeling overwhelmed, so you try to figure out wtf is going on there, and you end up debugging a large amount of your self-hate w/ some emotional exercises and that makes meditating easier, but you still get overwhelmed by trying to relax, so you try to keep figuring out WTF is going on here, and eventually you land on this hypothesis that fixing insecure attachment seems to be an incredibly important thing that makes therapy/meditation a lot easier (bc it's one of the first things you develop that skews how you see the world and how you see yourself, like apparently you develop a representation of "is the world safe" and "what happens when i need something" when youre 0-12 months old before you develop the narrative memory system at 2-4 years), and you hear that one exercise that is really effective for this is imagining fictional ideal parent figures who gave you incredible safety, attunment, soothing, delight, and support, and so you try this exercise and it feels like you're finally processing this huge backlog of rage and sadness and frustration that wanted to come out and was clogging up everything (including the productivity) and you are optimistic that this might work and might solve your biggest bottleneck to working hard on good things

Replying to @visakanv
sometimes the best way to proceed with β€œself-emptying” is to talk to someone else (and really listen)
