Rajdeep, stop this stupidity. Let me explain it in footballing terms. The chief refereeing officer and the chair of the referees’ committee are in the pocket of a team that wins the EPL every year. And now you’re asking the other teams why they can’t win the league?

Flawed argument..what is the point of election when there dont exist Democracy anymore.Even in Russia Putin is legitimized through elections but we all know that elections are just a formality in Russia with democracy now at the point of no return...
“Participating in elections does not mean accepting institutional flaws with blind faith. Rather, it provides the necessary foundation for resisting them. History shows that electoral authoritarians and dominant parties are rarely weakened by moral appeals or voluntary abstentions; they are challenged, constrained, and ultimately defeated through persistent, organised resistance at the ballot box…”, writes @ShashiTharoor in the

Dear Countrymen,
The parents of Sahil Wakode, a young student at IIT Powai, have been on a hunger strike at Azad Maidan for the past five days, demanding an investigation into his suspicious death and justice for their son. Today, I met them and listened to them. I also spoke at length with their lawyer, Advocate Nikhil Kamble. These conversations clarified many things, which I will write about in detail later.
We honour Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar as a great leader. Maharashtra and the whole of India take pride in his legacy. The path he showed us was one of struggle. Young people, too, must remember this: glorifying death is no answer. What matters is staying alive and standing together to fight injustice.
I have obtained from Advocate Nikhil Kamble, a list of people who reached out to Sahil’s parents. (List Below)
Rahul Gandhi was the first to reach out to his parents with sensitivity and compassion and offer them support.
Mumbai has many people who consider themselves important and influential. Several activists have also suddenly arrived in the city. All of them should visit Sahil’s parents at Azad Maidan, listen to their concerns and firmly support their demand for justice. They should work towards ensuring an impartial investigation into Sahil’s death and punishment for anyone found responsible.
Rohith Vemula, Payal Tadvi, Sahil Wakode… the list keeps growing. We must act now to prevent more names from being added to it.

May Sahil’s parents, his sister, his family and his fellow students find the strength to endure this grief. My colleagues and I will do everything we can to help them secure justice. I appeal to all of you to join this struggle.
Above all, those whose words carry weight and whose presence can compel the authorities to take notice should meet this family in person. Offer them comfort, strengthen their struggle and stand by them until justice is served.
