Government review: We are seeing an alarming rise in Jewish children being racially abused and harassed at school. The British Left: I don't believe this, how much of that abuse & harassment targeted towards children is actually just legitimate criticism of the state of Israel?

If you need to see how far the left has fallen into a sewer of antisemitism, just look how they react towards a report written on the antisemitism Jewish schoolchildren experience in British schools. An appalling disgrace that no other community would be expected to tolerate.

I'd forgotten that when Navi Pillay, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize today, ran the UN "Human Rights Commission", it sent the names of dissidents reporting on the persecution of Uyghurs to China's Communist government. The UN fired the whistleblower, obviously, and promoted Pillay.

After the Green Party's "Zionism is Racism" vote, the Leader of Haringey Council, which is controlled by the Greens, wrote to various Synagogues in the borough to "reassure" them. I want to show you Highgate Synagogue's reply. I believe it is worth reading in its entirety.

The meaning of the phrase Jews Don’t Count is often misunderstood. It means: as a vulnerable minority. A minority that has suffered, like all minorities, extreme violence and discrimination. The assumption remains, despite history, that Jews are too powerful really to be seen in that way. Drawing attention to Jewish suffering is seen as only another example of their power, of Jews' ability to highlight their own suffering at the expense of others. Jews are not granted specificity in suffering: it must always be compared to the suffering of others, and found wanting. And if you want to see that in action, have a look at some of the responses on here - or no doubt, below this message - to the various attempts to commemorate one acute example of Jewish suffering, that took place three years ago today.

I'm so glad you were reassured, Victor. After all, that's the main thing British Jews were worried about, that you felt reassured enough to continue to do the thing (allying with a party which just adopted a blatantly antisemitic policy) which is in your own self interest to do.
I was deeply troubled by the motion passed at Green Party conference yesterday, which I completely condemn. I have had conversations today with Southwark Green Party colleagues which I feel reassured by, and has led to this joint statement being released. 1/3

So why was an amendment specifically dedicated to protecting against this happening voted down, not once, but twice? 🤔
Not a single Jewish member will face disciplinary action for attending a synagogue, yet this narrative will still be ruthlessly spread as though fact. As I say, buckle up and stand your ground Greens!

And this is where that argument leads if you apply it consistently. My son has extremely offensive sounding vocal tics throughout the day, every day. Should he therefore not attend school? Should he be removed from his classes? Avoid public places? Stay away from anyone who might be offended by something he involuntarily says? Of course not. That cannot be the answer. John has made his own choice about what makes him comfortable at this particular event, and I respect that. But we cannot turn one individual’s personal choice into a wider expectation that people with Tourette’s should remove themselves whenever their disability might make somebody else uncomfortable. My son’s school has taken the opposite approach: education, understanding and inclusion. His peers and teachers understand that his tics are involuntary and don't represent his thoughts or beliefs. That is the model we should be working towards, not segregation. – at Danderhall, Scotland
This is all just a bunch of people minimizing the n-word. In no circumstance, anywhere, should folks be expected to sit through hearing that word shouted at them over and over. I don’t care what condition causes it. John realizes this, as well. Good for him.

I genuinely cannot believe I’m still having to argue this seven months later. John has made clear that watching from a separate room via video feed is his choice, made for his own comfort. That choice should absolutely be respected. But we should be asking ourselves why, in 2026, anyone with Tourette’s might feel that being somewhere they cannot be seen or heard is the most comfortable way to participate. Because apparently the possibility that somebody might experience a few seconds of discomfort from hearing an involuntary tic is enough for people to argue that the person with Tourette’s should remove themselves instead. Think about that trade-off. Your momentary discomfort versus somebody being made to feel that their neurological condition means they are better off out of sight and out of earshot. Seven months ago I was arguing that my son deserves to leave his house, attend events and exist in public without apologising for involuntary symptoms he cannot control. Apparently I still am.
Delroy Lindo called it “a classic case of something that could be very negative becoming very positive.” For families living with Tourette’s, this past week has not felt positive. Since the BAFTAs and what happened with John Davidson, I have been arguing that my son deserves to leave his home and be included in society like everyone else. I have had to explain, again and again, that Tourette’s is neurological. That tics are involuntary. That coprolalia is not belief, not intent, not character. Yet the conversation keeps circling back to whether people like John, and by extension my son, should simply stay home to avoid offending anyone. Stay home. Remove yourself. Do not attend events. Do not exist publicly in case your disability makes someone uncomfortable. That is the reality this week. This is not abstract for me. My son already navigates anxiety and the constant fear of being misunderstood. Inclusion cannot mean only if your disability is convenient. It cannot mean you are welcome as long as you do not embarrass us. My son deserves to leave the house. He deserves to attend events. He deserves to exist in public. And I am exhausted from having to argue that basic truth.

I am fucking devastated. My daughter is autistic. She has struggled with her mental health for years. She was discharged from the local mental health team. And what support was put in place to help her STAY WELL? None. Absolutely fucking none. Her mental health has deteriorated badly again. Last night I was up into the early hours listening to and seeing my daughter in immense distress. So I called 111 out of hours because I was desperately trying to get help. And what was I told? Ring back in the morning. Why? Because my daughter couldn't speak to them herself. Let that sink in. She couldn't speak because she was in crisis. What the actual fuck are families supposed to do with that? How are people supposed to access mental health services when the very reason they need help means they may not be able to communicate with the service asking them to communicate? This is not support. This is not prevention. This is waiting for someone to fall apart and then wondering why they're in crisis. My daughter deserved better. She deserved someone to actually support her mental health. She deserved continuity. She deserved professionals who understood her autism and her needs. She deserved services working WITH her and WITH her family to keep her well. Instead, once again, we have been left picking up the pieces. And I'm fucking sick of it. My daughter has spent two years battling silent demons. We fought so hard to get her to a better place. And now? We're back at square one. And I am terrified about what comes next. Because when services fail to support my daughter, it isn't just her who suffers. Our whole family suffers. And once again we face the possibility of being dragged through the courts when what my daughter actually needs is proper mental health support. So I'm asking the question I've asked myself over and over again: WHY THE FUCK DOES THE NHS KEEP LETTING PEOPLE LIKE MY DAUGHTER DOWN? Why does support disappear when someone is discharged? Why aren't autistic people with complex mental health needs supported to REMAIN WELL? Why does it feel like services wait until someone is in absolute crisis before they take their mental health seriously? Why do families have to scream, fight, complain and beg for help? My daughter shouldn't have to become desperately unwell before somebody decides she is unwell enough to deserve help. She deserved to be well. She deserved to stay well. She deserved better. And today, I'm fucking heartbroken that once again, the system has failed her.

John spent years growing up separated and isolated from others who viewed his Tourette’s as an issue they didn’t want to be around. After making a film about it, lauded by the establishment, the establishment have also decided Tourette’s is an issue they don’t want to be around.
This isn't going to go down well.

A single days worth of Jew-killing at Treblinka killed several times the total number of LGBT victims of the Holocaust. There’s been an enormous left wing push to decenter Jews from the holocaust because the ideological implications of such a vast apparatus of killing, the likes of which have never been seen before or since, having been built basically specifically for Jews is problematic for them. They want Nazism to be an amorphous label they can attach to their opponents to mark them for violence. But that’s not what it was. Nazis are first and foremost obsessed with the idea of the Jew as the source of all earthly evil which must be snuffed out. Any person who is hostile to Jews is objectively closer to a Nazi than someone who isn’t, no matter what their other beliefs are. That’s very inconvenient for leftists.
They killed roma, trans people, disabled folks, communists, detractors in general in addition to jews. I hear myself very well thanks. Maybe read a book once in awhile
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Nazis persecuted Roma, disabled people, political opponents and some homosexuals "in addition to Jews," but Jews were the primary target of systematic genocide (~6M victims); Roma and disabled ~250k each, LGBT/political victims far fewer. encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/art… encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/art… encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/art… encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/art…

Pretty much everyone in Britain understands what Tourette’s Syndrome is BECAUSE of John. That he can’t attend a ceremony in his own country because through no fault of his own he might upset people from other countries who are less educated is frankly disgusting
After "I Swear" scored seven BAFTA Scotland nominations, the British Academy has said Tourette's campaigner John Davidson will watch the ceremony "via video link from a separate relaxed space within the venue." BAFTA and Davidson were at the center of controversy in February when he involuntarily shouted a racial slur at the Film Awards. variety.com/2026/film/global…

It's VERY IMPORTANT we hide away the disabled man from the awards ceremony regarding the film that goes into excruciating detail about how miserable his life has been due to his disability and how if we were all a bit more accepting and tolerant the world would be a better place.

Nobody knows about this. In your very final years, you could easily end up having only levels of “pocket money“ below, from your own money, while still needing to buy all your own clothes, shoes, toiletries, and anything else at all. The council takes the rest of your pension.

On funding social care. Over 4 years a private equity firm which has hoovered up care homes will have had all my mum’s pension income, the whole proceeds of her house and what she’d saved separately (not masses, but more than many can). And at 98 she becomes a form of pauper.
I don’t mind that mum had to sell her house, but now those proceeds are spent, the state will control her remaining £23k, let her have a tiny amount of pocket money and won’t guarantee she can stay where she has spent the last 4 years. The complete indignity at the end.
