This is the first time I’m tweeting in this manner. Today, I’m pleading with us to please come out en masse in January and vote for Peter Obi. I’m not here to tell you to vote wisely because, based on track record, I believe he is the best option among the candidates contesting. Data don’t lie. Are you not tired? Are you not tired that you can no longer celebrate Christmas or Eid the way we used to in the past? Are you not tired of buying fuel for ₦1,400? Is gas at ₦1,700 okay with you? Do you think it is normal that federal universities are now charging over ₦150,000 in fees? What about the cost of transportation, data, rice, and virtually every other food item? Are you happy that a mini flat now costs ₦2.5 million or more per annum? You graduated from university how many years ago, yet you have nothing tangible to show for it. Are you not tired? Are you okay with local flights becoming a luxury? With a round trip from Lagos to Abuja costing over ₦300,000? Are you not tired? Are you not tired that you are in your 30s but cannot afford to get married or start a family because of the cost of living? Look at the quality of your life. Compare it with that of your friends who left the country two or three years ago, or your age mates living in saner, more functional societies. Don’t you see the difference? Are you not tired that, in your 30s, you cannot afford to buy a car or even rent a decent apartment? Are you not tired that, despite how hard you work, your business is still struggling because people are too broke to patronise you? Are you okay with the fact that all you have done for the past three years is survive? We keep having relationship debates about going on dates and how nobody wants to be intentional anymore, but we refuse to tell ourselves the truth: the decline in romance is also a reflection of a struggling economy. Are you not tired? Are you not tired that, in 2026, we are still dealing with basic problems like epileptic electricity supply, poor healthcare, police brutality, and so much more? Are you not tired? If we let this man win again, the next four years could be even more difficult. A government that has had four years to demonstrate what it can do should be judged by its record, not just its promises. We cannot afford to ignore that record when deciding what comes next. Add four years to your current age and think about the gravity of the next election. This is a plea. Get your PVC. Talk to your parents, siblings, and friends. Encourage everyone around you to get involved and make their voices heard at the polls. Telling people to “vote wisely” is such a vague statement. For once, let’s look beyond our tribal differences and do what we believe is right for the country. This is personal. If we get it wrong in January, which is just two months away, the consequences will affect all of us badly. It is very personal.

Tbh at the end of last season when the guy took over, he was running on the discipline Amorim instilled in the team. This season, he has gotten it all wrong. Look at yesterday’s match. We lost almost all aerial duels and second balls. What do they even do in training ffs?

If you support and love Amorim, it means you have the right mentality to approach life. Even when things feel challenging now, you'll eventually figure them out.❤️

Last year, I was fighting on this app, shouting :“DON’T SACK AMORIM! GIVE HIM TIME! LET’S SUFFER TOGETHER!” I genuinely believed that man was a great coach…Some of you called me a fake fan. I just want to remind you all that God will punish you.

We hired a project manager that actually started implementing a solid and long term project. He wasn't perfect but he wasn't supposed to be. He was supposed to make mistakes and pick himself back but at least we saw exactly what he was doing.. Guess what? They sacked him.. Lol

This is a lie, the players never stopped playing for him
INEOS brought Amorim in without proper backing. The players eventually stopped playing for him, and when he called out the board, he was sacked. Carrick finished 3rd last season with virtually the same squad, minus Casemiro, who retired. Then everything went wrong at the start of this season, and now he wants to put all the blame on the board.

The Players never stopped Playing for Ruben Amorim. That man survived the whole of December and Mid January without Mbeumo, Amad, Mazraoui who were injured. Even Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes missed games and we survived. Lisandro Martinez and Maguire and De Ligt were out injured, but I was confident in every match that period that we won’t lose. We won against Newcastle without those men. Drew against Leeds before Amorim called out the board out of frustration. Those players never stopped playing for Ruben Amorim. Not once

There's a reason why it's very important to start well in games because you don't know how the game will turn out United have not started well in any of the games they have played this season. That's worrying. Always allowing opponents to dictate games is not the united's way

Also not on Carrick that his 'forwards' can't finish their dinner nor the abysmal defending that gifted Atleti the lead inside a minute.
