I probably jinxed it but I can also agree, this is the most stable beta experience I have had in awhile, apple finally meant it when they said this a performance improving update.

My prediction, this film's existence is dependent on the success of "The Hunt for Gollum" this could be a here today gone tomorrow scenario, as we have seen in the past. While Colbert, is known LOTR fanatic I am not sure if that give him enough merit to write full LOTR film.

NEW 'LORD OF THE RINGS' MOVIE Stephen Colbert is co-writing "The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the Past" (working title), which will go into production after "The Hunt for Gollum." The synopsis: "Fourteen years after the passing of Frodo - Sam, Merry, and Pippin set out to retrace the first steps of their adventure. Meanwhile, Sam’s daughter, Elanor, has discovered a long-buried secret and is determined to uncover why the War of the Ring was very nearly lost before it even began." Colbert is co-writing the script with his son, Peter McGee, and franchise veteran Philippa Boyens. variety.com/2026/film/news/l…

Additionally, when are we going to admit we are approaching or have arrived at a "beating of a dead horse" era for LOTR content

That orange color on the 17 pro, is very interesting but this will of course be a good visual distinction of models. People will be drawn to getting the new color to flex ownership of the "Pro" iPhone. It sounds crazy but it happens. #AppleEvent

Promotion on the base iPhone 17 model and 256gb storage is long overdue but very welcomed! #AppleEvent

While it looks gorgeous, I can't see the iPhone Air making it past the first generation. Perhaps I will be proved wrong but I think people have adapted to big phones and clearly do not want compromise hardware for a smaller/lighter footprint (i.e. smaller battery, single camera etc). Portability is not a concern anymore. While it made it two generations, I direct your attention to the iPhone Mini. #AppleEvent
