A mother is left in tears after she was allegedly deceived by a suspected mobile money fraudster into transferring GHS6,700 through a mobile money vendor.
According to the mother, she received a phone call from an individual who claimed she had won a huge cash prize but was required to make an upfront payment to receive the money.
She said the individual instructed her to visit a mobile money vendor and make a deposit into a mobile money account, resulting in the loss of GHS6,700.
