the "western" world is ruled by insurance lawyers...
i really wish i could flip that mental switch into amused nihilism and just kick back with a bottle and watch spaceship earth sink.

Statistics, a powerful tool but oh so easily abused...

Blowing up Eris is one way to get rid of the old tileset i guess. #Warframe

Maybe i am getting paranoid with age, but i'm starting to wonder if external/removable media has been made deliberately awkward so as to dissuade us from using them long term.

So the launch of Tau this christmas could be the mothballing of the past decade of #warframe content as Tau acts as a semi-reboot. Only question is how the team will fast track new players to Tau after the intro.

If FAANG wants to push passkeys, they should be pushing for NFC in all devices. This then allowing for easy neutral NFC fobs and platform to platform copying.

And as expected, the #warframe sweaties start baying for "better" loot in icebind.

Belmont's Curse? More like Hollow Knight's curse! Even Evil Empire can't help themselves from sullying an actual Castlevania game with "hold to heal" idiocies. Bloodstained seems like the only carrier of the metroidvania legacy now.

Hey EU, how about mandating open/unlockable bootloaders on phones and tablets?!

If anything the surge eximus helps highlight how spastic the #warframe "AI" really is.

the reason people go for KPM in #warframe is simple, in massively increase the loot chance. Going up in difficulty is basically a bad idea, because it takes longer to kill stuff and thus produce fewer loot rolls and in turn lower chance of getting the loot one is after.

while plenty of devices have child modes, i suspect more and more we need some kind of "grandparent" mode. In particular as we expect everything in daily life to be mediated via a device rather than over a counter.

Så atter en gang er vetoretten i FN kun ett problem når Russland bruker den. Merker jeg begynner å bli mektig lei norsk medias brogang for USA.

UEFI and ACPI was a massive mistake, as OEMs can't handle the responsibility without mucking everything up in ways that can't be fixed by third parties.

Whacked. Almost as if the Legion laptop CPU fan get stuck in full blast state if running on wall power for extended periods. Unplug and taking in and out of sleep made it shut up instantly.

Why is it that any marketing about "security" in computing products these days fill me with dread?

It feels like the only people that are excited about "AI" are the programmers stuck writing boilerplate all day for some internal use business software.

It is as if just because AMD and Intel starved their iGPUs for RAM bandwidth to protect their precious workstation segment, people assume that iGPUs will always and forever be inferior to dGPUs.
