Keen motorcyclist. Retired from the M25 madness. All opinions are my own, unless it's a retweet, in which case it probably isn't.

A 1960s childhood. A bath and hair wash once a week. Bedtime after the Magic Roundabout at 6pm. Watch with Mother for an hour or so after school on a black and white TV where you frequently needed to reset the horizontal hold buttons and replace the valves. Eating whatever meal was put in front of you. Because you didn't get a choice. No snacks between meals. Sixpence a week pocket money for sweets or a comic. Always playing outside on bikes, hand made go karts and pushing our dolls in toy prams. Being happy if you got bath salts or talc as a birthday present. Or a hanky with your initials embroidered on it. Being taught to tell the time, your times tables, tie your tie and shoelaces before you started school. Getting a small smack on the bottom for answering back. Getting the cane or slipper at school. Mums still did the housework and dads cut the grass or washed the car. Mum went shopping most days because you didn't have a freezer. And if you had a twin tub washing machine, you were well off. Ready Steady Go or Top of the Pops to see your favourite groups and singers. And how exciting when space hoppers came to the UK in 1969. Occasionally on a Friday, you'd get fish and chips for tea and put your empty bottle of Corona out for the man to come and give you your deposit back. Saturday afternoon at Nan's watching the wrestling or Sunday tea with winkles you'd need pins to extract the contents from. The coal man and rag and bone man were regularly visiting your street. And the late Sunday afternoon dread as you had school again tomorrow. Were we happy? Of course we were. We knew no different. Were we anxious? Of course not. We probably didn't even know the word. We just played make believe and did as we were told. Children need boundaries and routine. Both sadly lacking now.

More facts for anyone interested...
Prince Albert apologised for slavery back in 1840 in a speech at an international anti-slavery meeting in London. 186 years ago… Perhaps the Prime Minister would do better to focus on the 50 million people enslaved TODAY - four times the number transported throughout 300 years of transatlantic slavery.

I agree. The British establishment should apologise over slavery. To us. For allowing this pathetic, self-loathing, anti-white bullshit to drag on for so long. The answer, to any jumped-up Caribbean or African, is this - you can piss off. End of debate.

Out for a quick ride today while the suns out. No chocolate cake, had to make do with apple pie and ice cream.

I would never dream of taking a non-emergency call in public, or watching a movie or listening to music without headphones on a train or in a pub. The fact that so many people do says a lot about the current level of cuntyness and entitlement. Have a bit of fucking decency.

Sun's out, bike clock adjusted. Time take advantage of a break in the storms and get a bacon butty and a coffee or two by the river (although it is a tad windy)

Denying the Chagos Islanders their right to self determination (said to be one of the highest rights in International Law) Is pure evil by Labour.
BREAKING Chagossians could be handed a veto to stop the islands being handed to Mauritius under a Bill passed by peers this lunchtime. The British Sovereignty Protection (Chagos Islands) Bill - which cleared the second reading stage in the House of Lords today - would give Chagossians a veto over any deal. The new law would mean that sovereignty transfers require a referendum of Chagossians and approval by the islands' own government. The Bill will now go forward to the committee stage when it would need Government support to continue. It potentially gives a way-out for Andy Burnham if he wants to drop the deal which has been attacked by US President Donald Trump. The Chagossian diaspora is thought to be overwhelmingly against the deal. Four Chagossoians settled on the archaepelago earlier this year to protest at the Government's plans to hand sovereignty to Mauritius. Speaking before the vote, a Foreign Office spokesman told @GBNEWS: “Securing the long-term operation of Diego Garcia remains a top priority for the Government, and protecting the base is the very reason for the agreement with Mauritius. “We will continue to work with the US and Mauritius to find a way forward that is in the UK's best interests and protects our national security.” More: gbnews.com/politics/chagos-i…
