The Dept of Transport, Safety and Liaison @NCProvGov is appointing 56 revenue clerks.
Sources say some officials have questioned the process - but it appears others want to go ahead with the appointments.
It is alleged that the candiates were not scored and processes were not followed.
Questions have also been raised about a panel member who was initially a scribe and is now the compiler of the submission for the same recruitment process.
The official has also allegedly made the recruitment process irregular by preparing appointment letters before the criminal records results are made available.
It is claimed that many candidates were favoured during the process.
Golden Arrows coach Mangoba Mqithi not mincing his words on the implementation of the VAR in the PSL/BET way. He is right it is long overdue.

Here's another road leading to an area called Maumong, Rusternburg.
No jobs in the area. All while a very busy granite mine churns away right next door. Residents told @eNCA foreign nationals are hired with the Social and Labour Plan (SLP) being disregarded by some of the mining companies.
NW municipalities are totally misgoverned. I don’t think there’s single functional municipality in my home province.
Even @MbalulaFikile saw the road on my street in Monakato this week (he was on that street) ⬇️
He can attest to the bad condition it is in.
#AFCON2025 Sudan played their hearts out. For a smal nation like Sudan I am sure the entire country is in jubilation. Not a wonderful play from Sudan but a win is a win.

🚨 Veteran Kenyan politician Raila Odinga died in India on 15 October 2025. But a viral video supposedly showing him in hospital is AI-generated. Our fact-check found deformed fingers and an oversized hand — classic signs of AI manipulation — and traced the clip back to a 2017 photo.
AI can now transform old images into realistic looking – but fake – “videos”. Use our tip of the week to learn how to spot them.
