Why don't Men Know How to Comfort Other Men?
One of my friend's friend was robbed in his house at gun point. In fact he was slapped with a gun and almost stabbed for trying to resist. It happened a while ago. He resides in Kisauni, mombasa.
Brian told me that his friend was robbed of his 55 inch tv, his iPhone and some other electronics. The neighbours could not do anything. It was so sad.
I felt really sad for the friend after brayo told me about the ordeal . So I just asked him, " mbona usiende kwake and console him? ". He was star struck and confused by my words asf! Almost like I was sharing some breaking news 😂😂.
My friends friend , was really feeling low according to Brian's narration . You could feel it from his voice. He said that his friend told him that they were actually going to stab him even after a full cooperation! . Though they managed to still hurt him, the noise of the commotion and barking dogs saved him and the burglars fled the scene leaving him injured and devastated.
I told some of my female friends that brayo's friend was unwell. They asked me what happened and we planned to pay a visit to check up on Ian. Tukaenda and saw him recuperating. They empathised 🫂 🤗 . Fully.
That's when It hit me that women are really good at comforting people. They were really concerned. Maybe women are men's weaknesses or women are just naturally more caring.
It got me thinking: why is it that, men, sometimes struggle to comfort their own friends when they're going through something terrible? Is it that they don't know what to say, or have they simply never learned how to express their emotions to one another?

Yesterday while I was at the supermarket getting some few house essentials, my total came to around 900 plus. The items hata hazikua mob sana. Headed to the counter to pay for the things. Behind me was a lady with a trolley full of shopping!
Nikafikiwa. The cashier akascan my items totalling to 962/= .
With me I had only 1k to my name! Proceeded to pay pale kwa cashier. Nikingoja my 38 bob change which would be my networth from there on, I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was that exquisite lady behind me pushing her laden trolley . Impeccably dressed, her outfit screamed of nothing but understated luxury ☺️. Kumskiza, she's telling me, `take your money I'll sort it outʼ.
At first I thought maybe she needed the cash so alipe with her mpesa then nimpee my cash... So I take my 1k note and hand it to her only to be met by
, 'keep it I'm sorting out your bill'
Could have sworn nilidhani nimeskia zangu🤣.
She goes ahead and tells the cashier to bill her (my bill) pamoja with hers! Sikuamini! Humanity bado ipo.
A stranger I've never seen or heard of amenilipia 962 bob yote! JE HO VA! I've never felt so special like this,☺️🤭 ... Its been ages since someone did something so nice to me without asking back for payment or reciprocation . Teary me was brought back to planet earth by 'niko zangu zangu kwa bookla mirema, kuna peng ana whine akicheza kwa majina anaitwa pamela akia nani anaonyesha cinema🎶' and rhe squeaking of the trolley wheels.
Lady wherever you are, who ever you are may you never lack... God bless her heart💕
