They sent me this scalp wash to try
It's a really weird product category because my initial thought was: "Why would anyone need 'scalp wash' in the first place."
I would never think to buy something like this
The first time I used it was after I microneedled my scalp. I was sitting there in the shower like "God, wow, I have so much energy. I feel amazing about this scalp wash. Holy shit, I am so pumped right now"
Later I learned the scalp wash has like half a gram of caffeine in it per dose. You don't normally absorb this, but because I microneedled right before using it I was basically injecting preworkout into my skull
I've been informed this is not a normal effect of the product, and I was misusing it
Aside from that, my scalp feels way looser. It's hard to describe, but if you feel the skin on the top of your head and try to pinch it or roll it around, and then feel the skin on your arm, they're clearly different. Arm-skin is way looser.
After the scalp wash, the scalp skin felt way looser for me. Not the same as arm skin but much closer.
I assume this means a reduction of scalp tension somehow? I'm not sure. A similar thing happens if you massage your scalp for a while too. One of those things that relieves a discomfort you probably have but aren't aware of
Everything that decreases scalp tension also regrows hair to some extent - more bloodflow to the follicles, less inflammation, etc etc.
It's not a lifechanging amount - look up studies on scalp perimeter botox or scalp massages if you want to see what might be a realistic upper limit.
I won't pretend I noticed hair regrowth in a month, though. Not saying it won't happen, but I wasn't even checking because nothing grows your hair back in a month. It's just not enough time. If someone tells you otherwise they are almost certainly scamming
Anyway, it's a fun product. I do wish there was more methylene blue dye in it, but it's probably good for your bathroom towels that there isn't.
Not a sponsored post but they did send me the sample for free. I love free things so that probably biases me in favor of them, but I also love giving overly critical product reviews so you should only send me stuff if you're somewhat confident I'll actually like it
Our good friend @SCHIZO_FREQ tried bloo and it left his worldview permanently altered
“All of this stuff makes your scalp feel really good ... I now think that a lot of problems people have in life are due to scalp tension.”
We love you Lukas.
He had a lot more to say about bloo scalp cleanser + bar soap in the full @PD_EXP episode. Check them out.
(Disclaimer: bloo does not actually turn you blue)

If you're like me, then your hair is very fine grain and literally everything dries it out for days. Even typical post-wash conditioners always made it worse for me.
The trick is preconditioning with coconut oil for 30-60 minutes, then washing it out with your preferred scalp wash product (there's only one that's good, pictured below).
My hair is constantly tempting me to facedox, maybe some day.

So it turns out that Bloo is, in fact, not a peptide and is actually a scalp wash. I wish that was more clearly explained so I could have avoided a lot of confusion.
Anyways, this is how it feels to Bloo your scalp.
