It no longer feels like my country. The places, the values, the things that once made it feel like home all seem to be fading away. Everything of worth feels like it’s slowly dying, and I’m standing here watching it happen, powerless, heartbroken, and tired. I don’t feel like I belong anymore. I walk through my own streets feeling like a stranger, like I’m out of place in the land I grew up loving. More and more, I feel like a second-class citizen in my own home, overlooked, unheard, and pushed aside. It hurts to care this much. It hurts to see something you love fall apart and realise there’s so little you can do. I’m sad, frustrated, and worn down by it all. I’ve tried to stay hopeful, but right now, I’m struggling. And honestly, I’m just about at my limit.
