Following @DefendingEd's recent report on China's influence in K12, WORLD showcases the dangers. Parents shouldn’t underestimate education programs with links to the Chinese government. “If you can sway students in K-12, you have college students who dismiss the national security concerns that China presents,” Richmond with @FDD said. “Ultimately, this makes them easier to manipulate either for future espionage purposes, or for general foreign policy and public policy initiatives in the voter booth.”

Confucius Classrooms seemed to be in retreat. But we have found they are now emerging in new forms. Same mission. New names.

How did China maintain a foothold in K12 schools after Confucius Institutes closed?
In a piece for @TheHillOpinion I explain "Confucius Cut-Outs" sharing my research from @FDD 🧵

If your child is learning Chinese in a public school, the curriculum may have been shaped by the Chinese Communist Party.
Here's how Beijing kept its foothold in American classrooms — even after Congress forced Confucius Institutes to close. 🧵

The @splcenter reaches thousands of classrooms through its "Learning for Justice" curricular resources. American students deserve a thorough review of these materials. Groups that fund supremacists and extremists have no business shaping curriculum for our children.

@JenRichmond expresses concern over the isolation tactics of radical Islam underlined in @YasMohammedxx's book Unveiled. Tactics that persist even in western liberal democracies:
You've got Yasmine's mother who everything is haram - it's bad it's evil, and you're scared. This is what you learn since you're a child and you're scared of the outside world and it's meant to do that. It's meant to isolate you.

@SecularRonin is concerned with the hypocrisy in western liberalism that is showcased in @YasMohammedxx's book Unveiled: I was so disgusted with the with how with how a mother can treat her child in that kind of fashion and the the kind of excuses you have to conjure up in your own mind to follow the dictates of your own religion to justify child abuse, to justify misogyny and the whole host of other fundamentalist practices that go against anything we would consider progressivism and and even liberalism. It just really drove home to me the idea that something hypocritical is going on our dialogue.

@YasMohammedxx's book Unveiled, brought up the question of cultural relativism and moral clarity for Diana: I'm a neurologist so science... and so then I'm sitting in this cultural anthropology class when they're discussing this term [cultural relativism] that to me was basically some kind of inversion of moral clarity..

Wink says on his reading @YasMohammedxx's Unveiled: when I read this book I felt it was one of the most difficult books I had read. I ranked it up there with American Slavery As It Is by Theodore Wells... but unfortunately we're living in the year today 2026 and it's not the 1600s or 1700s when we had legalized slavery, yet I kept feeling that there was a slavery of the spirit a slavery of the mind that Yasmine was subjected to...
