The 15-story Wells Fargo Tower and 14-story FirstBank building in Downtown Colorado Springs are facing foreclosure as the property owners owe more than $59 million in debt. The foreclosure sale has been delayed after no lender bid was received prior to the initial deadline.

Many case studies used at biz schools for MBAs have events that reflect poorly on the company taken out; their lawyers & PR staff edit them. They are NOT cases for “disinterested learning,” always feature “winners”—“failures are rarely considered.” Biased. nytimes.com/2026/10/18/opini…

If you wonder why I'm so pissed off about the attempted assassination of Helen Haines, the pic on the right is a set of my legs. This poor woman is a double amputee now. I've been through it, I'm living it every day. No one has the right to do this to another person.

New: We found cops who kept using Flock to spy on women after they left the force. One used it for five years after retirement, spying on his wife during a custody battle. Another ran searches while he was suspended (and later fired) after killing a 15-year-old boy. 🧵

Kaitlan Collins caught Trump in a lie because he said that he didn’t give Russia anything in return for Stephen Hubbard, but he did by removing Sanctions on Russia & Trump said she didn’t know anything & was CNN fake news. He also looked at her & said use your head at the end.

Conan O’Brien goes off on people who talk about their diets all the time "We have separate areas for smoking. I think we should do the same thing for people who want to talk about their diets" "If you want to talk about your protein maxing, or how you’ve cut down on carbs, or how you don’t eat breakfast and lunch but then eat a moderate-sized dinner, you have to go outside. It’s raining. You stand under an awning, getting soaked" "You can’t talk about your diet in front of these children. It’s second-hand diet talk"

Trump gets booed, the Bengals get the memo, and now Vance is left trying to collect handshakes like a rejected door-to-door salesman. Turns out, you can demand loyalty from an entire party, but you can't bully people into liking you. THAT'S GOTTA STING.

The legendary Beat writer Jack Kerouac died on this day, October 21st, 1969. Here’s a short write-up on his final days, along with one of my favorite Kerouac passages from his book – Big Sur. Check it out. “By the time Jack Kerouac died at 47 in 1969, he’d exiled himself from the 1960s youth culture he’d partly inspired with the likes of ‘On the Road’ and ‘The Dharma Bums.’ Bloated by booze and reactionary politics, he bore little resemblance to that matinee-idol handsome ‘King of the Beats’. In death, though, Kerouac’s star has risen with each succeeding generation.”

Many aircrews in Iran theater just got extended to April 2027. This will be over a year deployment. The damage to retention, and families, will be massive. Especially in the Guard and Reserves. This is not due to the war. It’s due to awful planning by Hegseth

The La's - There She Goes (1988) Always think of it as a 90s classic as it wasn't until reissued in 1990 when it became a major hit; deserved higher than its UK #13 peak. NME have listed the track in their "50 Greatest Indie Anthems Ever" and "500 Greatest Songs of All Time".

Unbelievable. The most corrupt president in U.S. history created a “fraud whistleblower program.” Ok. Let’s blow the whistle. Trump has: Illegally accepted a $400 million plane from Qatar Got $1.4 billion richer from crypto scams Used taxpayer money for TV ads That’s fraud!

Always remember how vile is Marco Rubio. Do not let a lazy media get away in the future with portraying him as a "moderate" or "sensible" Republican.
NEW: Trump’s mega Venezuelan oil deal, signed by Hegseth and Rubio, benefits an unknown group of investors and was intentionally crafted to keep the next U.S. president or future leaders of Venezuela from undoing it. @propublica saw the secret contract: propublica.org/article/trump…

Two days after @BoutrousTed sent a letter to the DOJ threatening further legal action if the White House keeps excluding CNN from Air Force One, the White House is at it again. Today is CNN’s turn to fulfill both in-town and out-of-town TV pool duties, but the White House press office left the network off the list for Trump’s trip to South Carolina, so as a result there will be no pooled TV coverage of the trip. Boutrous said in the letter that he needs to hear back from the administration by Thursday at 5 p.m. Eastern, or CNN “will be forced to pursue additional judicial relief…”

Abdul El-Sayed: “Donald Trump’s a bully. The thing about bullies is they operate in part by scaring people. There’s a reason I stand up to him so clearly because you don’t have to be afraid of the bully. More often than not bullies don’t operate because they’re truly strong, they operate because they’re fragile and weak. He’s just such a tool. If I ever get to be 80 I hope I’m not so vain as to pretend my hair is not gray. It’s all just a facade”
