I wish this next wave of Juju, Kitchen, Shimoda, Hymas, Davies, and Bennick would jump up to the 450 class asap. Watching their styles, I feel very strongly that these guys can ride a 450 better. I know manufacturers want titles, but these guys in the premier class will be fun.

I understand both sides, but we have to get privateer race approval/deny emails more than 5 days before an event. These guys have to figure out a travel schedule and sometimes bike transportation. To be on the road to the event and getting denied is rough.

Looks like Osborne is finally going to get that Horizon Award…

Emig Book Update: Fro and I are chatting once a week or every two weeks depending on our schedules. The layout and plan are in place. The notes are written. Still a ton to cover (what do you expect with a career like his?). We just got through Anaheim 89’.

We’re witnessing a real change of the guard here in both 250 & 450 classes. Although Jett is still winning, the younger generation of riders are here and ready to pounce. I’m especially excited to add the Coenens to the mix full time. The future of SMX is very bright!
