Picture this: Alberta successfully secedes from Canada and becomes the 51st US state. It becomes the 3rd largest US State, by landmass, and it currently holds the 4th largest oil reserve in the entire world. Greenland, Denmark, and the US have already signed a tri-lateral security agreement. The American hegemony would stretch from the Pacific, to the Arctic, through Canada, and to the Atlantic. The USA will have its eyes on the Caribbean next. Long live the American Empire!
