Yep @hark_labs is incredible. It's the first actually game changing piece of AI tech I've seen in a while.
I tried openclaw and hermes and never had much success, it was cool, but that's about it.
Then I tried dots and that was awesome, actually started feeling useful, but not without downsides.
Now I'm trying @hark_labs after listening to the @myfirstmilpod. This is the future.
You ever think about the fact that we, as humans, spend most of our time trying to go faster with the goal of one day being able to go slower?
The fact that I can code on 5 things across 3 machines from my phone is the most magical thing in the world.
Software engineers won't be software engineers soon. They'll go back to the early startup days, they'll be problem solvers and builders.
No longer will algorithms, type safety, or editor preference matter.
And this is something I'm very happy about.
Reading the many varying and often conflicting takeaways from the @railsworld keynote is fascinating.
This, this, and more this
I get why harness providers don't want the liability, but there's only one way to live with agents and that's full YOLO/BYPASS PERMISSIONS. Anything else is treating AGI like a toddler. github.com/basecamp/omarchy/…
I've changed my tune over the last year or two on emergency funds... Especially for founders.
1 year of expenses in cash (or equivalent) minimum.
I have reached a state of such illiquidity because I didn't do this that I see large amounts in my portfolio and yet I'm unable to pay bills...
Not fun.
TIL: business funding is much harder to get using @mercury. Many lenders won't underwrite them.
That sucks, but I'll still be using them.
Does anyone know a lender that does business debt refinancing or LOCs that'll accept mercury statements?
In one of those "the lodge might go bankrupt" phases, truthfully I'm not sure I ever left that phase since the end of last year.
It's been sleepless nights, scared to receive any bills, etc.
Working with AI to pull numbers and ideate possible improvements helps some, but we're just so stuck...
On the bright side all those "woah the latest AI model can fold my clothes and brunch my teeth for me" people can rave about fable twice...
"we're really cutting it close huh?" - me to my cofounder about our launch on Monday.
What a great feeling!
