Happy Vidyarambham. Ceremonial reading of the books kept for Saraswati Pooja. Vijnana Bhairava Tantra (Actually need to start reading) and Vishnu Purana (reference for my current WIP). Also, thank you @trivediravi ji for the copy of "The Bhagavad Gita Retold" by Om Swami ji Serendipitously, it came just before Saraswati Pooja.

I think the biggest beneficiary of America's war on immigration might be the Indian startup ecosystem. The American Dream was always rented and never been a better time than now for Indian engineers to build at home. India isn’t the India of the 90s when engineers moved out for better pay and exposure. Earlier generations left India because they didn’t have a choice but today, staying back is the smarter choice. Just need a few thousands of our engineers to become founders. Sure, we have our own constraints and we still have infrastructure gaps and bureaucracy is still frustrating. But if you look back at history, Indian engineers have always thrived precisely in moments of constraint. The outsourcing opportunity of the 90s was born from labour cost arbitrage. The SaaS opportunity of the 2010s came from building global software with frugal & distributed teams. The next cycle will be no different. This is the great inversion of our time and for the first time in history, the opportunity cost of leaving India may be greater than the opportunity cost of staying.Time to build for India and from India.

“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life—think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.” — Swami Vivekananda Obsession is the only filter. 🔥

Beautiful Christmas eve post & poem by Om Swami shared on @osdotme I pray that nothing in the universe may extinguish the fire of truth in you, may She who spun galaxies into existence, spin your sorrows into wisdom. May your mind, that wild horse, find green pastures and still water, learn when to run and when to rest, and know the difference between chains and reins. May your children (if you have them, if you want them) cause you the perfect amount of trouble, enough to make you grow, but not so much that you forget how to laugh. May your beautiful life remain ever blessed and your wandering turn into a pilgrimage, and your dreams find their way, through the maze of self-doubt. May your loneliness, when it comes (and it will), not be a prison but a monastery, not be an exile but a sanctuary, where something holy can finally land. May your body be a temple where peace makes its home, where illness finds no foothold, and where each cell is blessed. May your heart remain ever full of devotion, of love and empathy, may you know happiness not as a visitor, but as a longtime resident. May you know love, not as something seasonal but the kind that stays even when staying makes no sense, maybe the kind some of you have for me. May you give that love. May you receive it. May you stop arguing about whether you deserve it (you do). May gratitude be the lens through which you see your days. And finally, I pray that I do not disappoint you (more), because your trust matters to me. It always has. For full context & post read - os.me/i-stand-corrected/

Mental resilience can give us the strength to remain calm in adversities and prevent us from becoming stressed out. How do we develop that resilience? This article is inspired by a reading from The Book of Joy, which contains conversations between the @DalaiLama and Desmond Tutu trivediravi.medium.com/menta… #MentalStrength #ResilienceIsKey

Be hopeful because it will work out. Be patient because all great things take time. Be persistent because winning is impossible without that. Be gentle because you deserve to treat yourself with love. Take the plunge and do the very thing your mind resists. ~OS Happy New Year 2025!

Living with Pure Love Love is part of your very existence. If you want to experience bliss without treading an arduous path of tedious practices, just start giving out pure love. For every emotion you are offered, return it with pure love; for each gesture you are shown, gesticulate back yours of love, for every word uttered to you, articulate yours with love. Try this unfailingly for a few months and see the difference for yourself. os.me/living-with-pure-love/ .
