A developer is complaining about some unspecified bugs in Fastify that prevent its adoption. After asking what those problems are 1. ESM in Node.js 2. TypeScript Nodenext resolution 3. Bundling The latter is the thing we could better support (even I would never recommend it)

Additional IPv4: new pricing blog.ovhcloud.com/additional… via @ovhcloud FUCK YOU .. seriously. Lure us in to contracts and then charge us monthly for IPs we already paid for up front. I do not see how you can justify charging us 2x monthly what you pay a year for an IP.
Here’s @GovRonDeSantis in 2019, standing on hallowed ground, promising me that he would always support those of us impacted by the Pulse nightclub shooting. Today, he vetoed mental health services for us. I will never forget.

Snowden has been in asylum for 8yrs, cut off from the country he cares about so much he was willing to risk his life in prison for it. Trump twice hinted at a pardon. Imagine knowing all it could take to finally be free is to publicly flatter Trump. And choosing integrity. Again

As the influx to Signal continues, huge props to the entire small non-profit team at @signalapp working late nights and weekends to keep Signal running, answer support inquiries, and keep making Signal better for everyone interested privacy and a different kind of tech.

Is this what stock analysts mean when they say that the market is giving mixed Signals? It's understandable that people want to invest in Signal's record growth, but this isn't us. We're an independent 501c3 and our only investment is in your privacy.

45 says all the experts (including his) are wrong: SolarWinds hack is hot air, no big deal. China -- not Russia -- may be responsible. In same breath, says hack could have affected the election.

@SCsupport come on guys, standard CORS errors -- something even a basic server admin should know how to deal with, who's getting fired?

Native ES6, with module support, in browsers is the most exciting development in JavaScript since the advent of transpiling. And it’s the opposite! A return to JavaScript that doesn’t require a horrendously complex tool chain and build tools is 😍

The single biggest pandemic in the developed world is and always will be this: Isolation and loneliness (or aloneness). The feeling of being apart from others. Anything and everything we can do to combat this pandemic is a net positive for everyone involved.

If systems like Starlink are global satellite constellations with ground based fiber gateways in every region, has everyone already considered that means origin servers will already be "at the edge" for Starlink users, making CDNs partially unnecessary/obsolete + degrading?

support.google.com/googlepla… Looks like Google is going the Apple route now with payments for apps distributed through Google Play Store - taking a 30% cut, this is insane what Apple & Google are doing, there's no reason they should be getting 30%.

Let’s make a deal, Mr. President: You release your college transcript, I’ll release mine, and we’ll see who was the better student. Loser has to fund the Post Office.

Trump on AOC: "AOC was a poor student ... this is not even a smart person, other than she's got a good line of stuff. I mean, she goes out and she yaps."
