gaussian splatting is sort of a magical tech because what do you mean i can make models like this just by filming a 3 min video going around the figure and waiting 20 mins for it to render. and you can even do it on your phone?? for free?? and it's not ai??

i do understand the applications of it are super limited (although partially due to lack of support implementation) but it's still a bit weird to me it seems to be regarded as this forgotten gimmick due to its weaknesses and not more widely known for its strengths

there's still a lot i have to learn about gaussian splatting but i can tell which aspects i need to improve, which is nice. now to figure out a way to make precise adjustments to these models like changing certain shapes, colors, or maybe even merging two together....

apotheosis is such a silly minecraft mod like man what do you mean i do almost 900 damage per hit (for reference ender dragon and the wither have 200 and 300 hp respectively)

to be entirely fair some of my loadout is also taking stuff from mystical agriculture but like 90% of my scaling is from apotheosis

perhaps #controversial opinion but doesn't it feel like in the recent deadlock update a couple characters feel written more like their fanon interpretations rather than how they were written before?
