“What a strike that is” 🔥 Enjoy RefCam from last weekend’s five-goal thriller between Spurs and Aston Villa - including THAT Emi Buendia strike! 😮💨
Me too and I agree. Loved Rimmer, Spink and Bosnich but Emi is the best I have seen in claret and blue. Fantastic keeper and massive character. We have been lucky to have him #avfc

The best Overlap episode and guest by a country mile. Be like John. Well reared, hard working, likeable and full of humility.
So refreshing in a world and game gone mad destroyed by money. John McGinn is the role model that every little kid should be looking up to. Class act!

10 years ago, we managed three wins in an entire season before dropping to play the likes of Rotherham in the Championship. Today we signed Leon Goretzka, Nico Jackson and found out we're going to play Barcelona in the Champions League. Perspective. #avfc
Spot on. We have to embrace the change and back the Manager and the Board. Nothing stays the same forever and our ageing team needed a rebuild. Onwards #inunaiwetrust #avfc
Good analysis as usual. I am Villa through and through and love the optimism, it won't be easy but I have similar faith in the best coach in the world to evolve the team as described here. Will be bumps in the road, and this summer is a hige squad transformation, but Unai gets it

7 years ago Aston Villa were in turmoil. In the Championship and on the brink of oblivion.
Since then they’ve qualified for the Champions League twice and won the Europa League without breaking the bank
That’s what having a proper manager does
2/2 with the ball and without. I hope the players who have left or are thinking of leaving understand just how much of their quality is to do with the elite coaching and team structure. Lots to look forward to for this new squad #avfc
What an excellent performance from #avfc. The better team for large periods and had better chances over the course of the game. As long as we have Unai we will be competitive. Look at the side tonight, 7 changes from Istanbul, a 17 and 18 year old, and we were fantastic 1/2
Excellent and informative analysis as usual #england
